2016-17 Russian Qualifiers and other events

She does not need to compete in Russian Cup events at all. Her participation in JGP guaranteed her a spot at junior nationals. She could try to qualify to senior nationals but decided against that for some reason.
Basically, out of 18 spots at junior nationals 8 are already occupied. Probably 9, if Tarusina is ready to compete and her spot is still given to her. And the battle for those remaining spots is going to be fierce.

thanks for clarifying, I though those guaranteed spots were only those who qualified in JGPF.

Those who qualified in JGPF are guaranteed spots at senior nationals. Every participant of JGP is guaranteed a spot at junior nationals.

Panenkova is Diana Nikitina with great jumps. Nikitina always gets very bad PCS even when she skates clean.

I think Alisa's 2nd spin in her SP must have been invalid. She never really got securely into her camel position and the rotation almost stopped several times. Explains the score, plus the 3T was under rotated. It's a very nice program for her though.

About Dasha Panenkova: after watching her FS, i dont see "notorious slow" skating at least in comparison to other girls of this event. I'am impressed how she is fighting for her place in russian junior ladies skating, she is still progressing. And plus for her: she is not yet a 35 kg weight little girl, she has body like Fedichkina, but with very good and consistent jumps.

Complete agree. It's absolutely fine.

Alisa "Kitty" is so charming and beatiful on ice, that I dont care about her ur's, bv and so on, i only wish she keeps skating and make people enjoy her.

As I said before, Dunya Panenkova can get a ticket to the JW with clean skate at JN. But her FS is horrible. First 2 minutes she always stops in her stsq - it looks very bad and boring. No dynamic and no speed. Then she just jumps all her 7 jumps. Her previous FS (Christina Aguilera) was much better than that.

her PCS and TES were inlflated in this domestic competition, in a realistic JGP or Junior Worlds score, she wiould get around 118 - 120 at best in FS. Nugumanova can score higher than that.

Panenkova along with Trusova are Eteri skaters but they don't have the very good skating skills like Polina T or the moderate skating skills of Medvedeva, they are almost at par with Zagtiova, at least Zagitova has better jump height and her flow is improving.

Trusova from Eteri group? I thought her coach is ex coach of Maria Sotskova or Pogoriliya (Anna Tsareva). They just training on the same ice I guess, with different coaches.

I saw Daniil Gleichenhaus was with her in the FS, so she is still with Panova ?
isn't Daniil an Eteri exclusive choreographer.
