Guys, if you ever go to Edge, skateluvr is trolking again, this time about Yuzuru. If you feel inclined, could you post some dismissive or funny comment but NOT engage her in a discussion? If people don't react in a dismissive way, or start being defensive, that thread will soon again turn into a Yuzuru bash thread. This person is such a troll, she even pestered me on PM a few times.
 
BESP aired the free and I was laughing at the end because Simon and the lady were talking about how deceptive he is, looks so fragile and yet has such strength. I guess it's the free where this image gets invoked, considering Grishin yesterday. Hopefully someone uploads that too. And of course, again the talk where if he falls occasionally, he reminds us he's human. People really do have the image of him being so consistent. I wonder if that is also in the heads of the judges.

I think this free is most paradoxical - in it he tries to achieve this delicacy and frailty and gentleness - all along with 4 quads and three jump combinations in the second half. He could be dismissed as too feminine, but show me a girl who can jump like that! Too confusing - but I love paradoxes!
He's just something completely extraordinary, not easily categorised - that's why people either fall in love with him, or just boo at him. I don't know if anyone can remain indifferent.

Lol, I started to get it once i figured that having 3,000+ posts and not understanding basic skating doesnt match :unsure:

Yes, absolutely, the dichotomy is what attracts me personally but I can see why it may 'disturb' some. I think it breaks down certain barriers that have been long entrenched in our societies about femininity in men and strength, combined with the way he is open with his emotions, and then it challenges them with such conclusive evidence of endurance and grit and power, it makes things go hay-wire. It is fascinating.
