Sasha scored 156.29 for his FS. Clean. But no 4T in layout. I don't know what his PCS or TES was, they didn't even announce the FS score, just the total. I had to deduct he SP score from the total. Results page not updated.

Sasha won the FS but lost out on bronze by less than 1 pt.

And so this competition, he didn't really get anything out of it to be honest. No medal and no quad in layout.
But for the fans, they get to see his gala. So we benefit instead. But I'd rather it be the other way round...

Sasha will be in training group 3 for the pre-SP training session:
1.25pm-2pm, 21 Dec
The draw will be on the 21st as well, at 8pm.

Reminder: Chelyabinsk is 2 hours AHEAD of Moscow/SPB time so if you need to set an alarm for the competition, be sure to get the timing right.

FYI, the SPB skaters have just arrived in Chelyabinsk. Moskvina's pairs flew there last night and the rest went on the same flight today.

at night it was -42 there!!

well not surprising temperatures for me b/c I lived in Sibeia for quite some time & it wasnt that rare to get such numbers

Yes, the rink is warm in comparison. I have also heard that ice surface quality is not so great.
