What do you like about Patrick? I like his skating because he is fun to watch! I like his clearly articulated and dynamic movement with the music, his distinctive on ice personality and style, and exciting jump potential. He is the first skater that I know of after Ilia who has performed the Raspberry Twist in competition, not to mention the first after Ilia to do the twist and a backflip in the same program.

More seriously, I started liking Patrick before I learned of his friend, Spencer Lane, who was inspired to become a skater by watching Patrick. I can imagine no greater compliment a skater could receive. I loved Spencer's skating and I wish with all my broken heart that the two friends were still skating together.

I have appreciated Patrick long enough that I figured that I would just have to make a fan fest for him and today I decided that I could not wait any longer. I am not sure what this thread will mean to anyone or how long it will go, but I just want to do what I can to show and share appreciation and gratitude for Patrick, even if it is just a little thing.
