Noooooooooo this is just terrible!! Will they still go to junior worlds?
Some interesting news! https://www.facebook.com/MagyarOrsz...550939258538/1538014449545512/?type=3&theater
So we have two new partnerships skating for Hungary, Ice Dance team Anna Yanovskaya/Adam Lukacs and Pairs team Daria Beklemishcheva/Mark Magyar (I love surnames that are basically your nationality). Both teams are going to compete at Bavarian Open in Februrary, so if they reach TES minimums they can compete at Worlds!

). Or Australian actress Laura Vazquez.I dont want to believe it either :sad21:Re Mishina/Mirzoev: wouldn't there be some sort of statement by the RusFed? I sort of don't want to believe this until there is something tad more official ...

Thi is so weird... But good he hasn't dithed her for JWC, at least she can make name for herself. Will be easier for her to find a new partner.
And easier for him too...

To be honest, really not surprised. Even as an outsider, one can easily just see the strained relationship between the two from Nationals. Good on them for not pulling a Vartmann/Blommaert.
Something was wrong already in offseason. Here's a part from their coach Ludmila Velikova's inteview:To be honest, really not surprised. Even as an outsider, one can easily just see the strained relationship between the two from Nationals. Good on them for not pulling a Vartmann/Blommaert.
and:How Anastasia and Vlaislav worked after last year’s success?
L.V.: They worked hard. And above all, due to the fact that Anastasia is going through a difficult period in the life of every girl. She’s 15 years old, and that’s it. At this age, many athletes gain weight even from the air, from one type of food. She has to fight with extra weight, but it’s difficult. Nastia is very thin, holding herself. But any normal person is angry, when he’s hungry, so Nastia is often irritable. Vlad in this situation doesn’t feel the best way. He’s very well-mannered, but sometimes it’s not easy to restrain. It’s hard for Anastasia too. Sometimes when something doesn’t work, she reacts violently to comments, offended over nothing, complains why she’s criticized.
http://fs-gossips.com/ludmila-velikova-about-mishina-mirzoev/They have different characters, and youth, when you don’t have enough life experience to adjust to each other. But as Maxim Trankov says “We must be able to endure.” He went through it all with Masha Mukhortova.

Comparison with Mukhortova / Trankov isn't very optimistic sign. Also she's young and she's still growing, she is not a small girl. He's already 20 or 21, so he won't grow up more and he's not a tall guy. So, maybe there can be some issues too.
That's why I don't really follow junior pairs, they split up so quickly.
How bad could it have been to result in a split?? I don't get it :-s. I think teens nowadays are spoiled and not prepared to give everything for their goals.
I just hope Anastasia will find a good and strong partner. I always thought she is the better part from MM.
How bad? That's a weird thing to say. Spending with someone eight hours a day, day after day, for several years, you may find out that the person start seriously getting on your nerves. At when the person who gets on your nerves is constantly next to you, constantly having physical contact with you (which is a part of pair skating), all your negative feelings can get much stronger. He makes a mistakes and you can't help yourself feeling resentful towards him because you have to repeat it again and again until the coach is happy. Or you make a mistake and the partner may make some remark that you consider insensitive, and you feel even worse that because of you you both have to repeat it again and again. It is quite important that skating partner is supportive. When the relationship doesn't work, it is unlikely that the partners would be supportive towards each other. The negative feelings prevent them to be supportive to each other, which in turn affects the skating.
And imagine that you are supposed to trust that person with your life. That person is lifting you some 2-2.5 metres above the floor, and sometimes in positions where you are hanging with head down. I wouldn't want to do this with a partner I can't stand. How can you trust him? If you add that both of them are still kids, so they are possibly not fully mature, so their arguments may be like two teenagers rather than two adults...
(he is 20 years!!). And maybe she is just passing through a temporary bad period of time, as all teens. I cannot imagine that all pairs and ice dancers had always excellent relationships but the motivation to win was stronger. Anyway, I hope Mishina will find another partner and maybe a change of coach will be for the best. She is fighter according to their coach.I think it's a very rare situation to find a partner that is an excellent skater, emotionally stable and with whom you are compatible, so the skaters should make some compromises if they want to medal, in this case I refer to Mirzoev, as he is older than her and I suppose wiser(he is 20 years!!).
