2017 Worlds Helsinki Info and Chat

I just saw the posts about the issues with seating... My friend and I have All Event 9 Premium Level and Ice Level 1 tickets. Should we be worried about not being able to sit in the seats printed on our tickets?
No. They're your seats.

Does anybody know more about these "Worlds bottles" we can fill with water for free during the event?

I think they are saying don't bring in bottled water (I'm assuming empty bottles are fine), just drink from the tap water. It is safe and good for the environment.

Ahh, all these talk on food is making me hungry. I've been surviving on food from the supermarket. There's a 24 hours market at the basement of soko building near the central station.

I have one ticket for sale for Wednesday's opening and pairs short. It's Ice level 1 and an excellent seat. I'll just be charging whatever the ticket cost. Also, sorry. I know someone out there pmed me when my box was full. I never got the message.

Helsinki was kind of good this afternoon - morning was not so nice. Was showing to city today to a Yuzu fan who happened to sit next to me in Barcelona the other year, so not quite all Finns go for that no talking to strangers sitting next to me culture ;) Was also very pleased to hear that a meeting at the arena later this week was in the plans!

When you decide on that meeting, please post it asap - looking forward to meeting GS people :)

Actually, I'll sell for less if anyone is interested.

I'm hoping someone skates to "Sandstorm" by Darude during the opening ceremonies or during the exhibition. I mean Darude IS from Finland so it makes sense.

In case you don't know what that song is, I'll provide a link and after you hear it, you possibly might know then what I was talking about.

Totally walked in with a bottle of water and no one noticed  It's barely full though.

Seems most people are sitting on the judges' side for those worried about people sitting in your seats. Seems like there are some seats with blankets on them on the first row, opposite judges' near the K&C end

Are there the souvenir stalls or other 'shops' open at Hartwall during the practices? At least the food places should be, I asked that last week.

I did it. I bought still one ticket, for SD. So now only skip competitions on Saturday and the Gala. I took a risk and bought a balcony ticket. I am afraid of high places, but I try to teach myself. Hope an absent-minded person like me can manage having all the seats for separate competition in different places.

Drat. I can't make it tonight after all - got an urgent job from a client who I need to keep happy. It has to be done by Wed, but tonight is the only free time I have all week :( But if I'm not working, I'll try to make it to the arena meet!

Actually, without the right ticket you can't enter the sitting area on the short sides of the arena. Free seating during practice sessions is only on judges' side and opposite.

I tried and got kindly turned away.
