2027 World Junior Figure Skating Championships​

The 2027 World Junior Figure Skating Championships will take place February 24–28, 2027, in Sofia, Bulgaria, at Arena 8888.

Eligibility​

To compete at the World Junior Championships, skaters must meet ISU age and eligibility requirements.

• Skaters must be at least 13 years old before July 1 of the competition season
• Maximum ages vary by discipline:
  • Singles (Men & Women): must not have reached age 19
  • Pairs: Women up to 21, Men up to 23 (maximum 7-year age gap)
  • Ice Dance: both partners must not have reached age 21 (maximum 7-year age gap)

In addition, competitors must meet ISU citizenship and residency rules. Skaters who have previously represented another country or do not hold the nationality of their federation must obtain an ISU clearance certificate.
