Elizaveta Nugumanova

Preliminary entry lists of Nationals Elder Age have been published and Liza is among the entries. It wasn't a sure thing this would happen because she was only 7th at the Saint Petersburg Championships which assumedly served as a qualification event for the Nationals Elder Age. Because Saint Petersburg only had six spots for the Nationals Elder Age Liza could have been left without a spot but because Alisa Fedichkina wasn't interested in going Liza got the last spot. Nationals Elder Age will be a pretty high quality event because Panenkova, Trusova, Gulyakova, Tarakanova, Vasilieva, Samodurova, Lozko and Pavlova among others will be there also.

She did good at the Nationals Elder Age. She was 3rd. Despite medaling today her chances for JGP events are pretty slim but if she is impressive enough at the test skate event, who knows maybe she will get JGP event(s).

By the way, Liza and Sofia are on the entry list of Triglav Trophy. Don't know if they are really planning to go there because the event is so soon after Nationals Elder Age.

Entries.

The jump layout in her FS is very interesting: 3Lz+3Lo & 3F+3Lo. She has to increase the technical difficulty of her programs, otherwise she will undoubtedly get drowned in a sea of talents. Just keep it up, and your hard work will be rewarded accordingly some day in the near future, my little angel! :clapper:

Elizaveta Nugumanova managed to reproduce the technique of the famous spin of Julia Lipnitskaya with acceleration https://youtu.be/Fu7rsVwWgMM
Another spin from Elizaveta Nugumanova https://youtu.be/ZAU5fQFdUcU

Her spins are very good and she can express music beautifully, but she will need to be consistent, no popping jumps and no underrotations. I really love her skating, but I was a bit disappointed this past season. She wasn't as strong as the past suggested she would be. I hope that this coming season will be much stronger for her.

Liza and Gumennik have left Mishin's group (by their own choice) and are now trained by Veronica Daineko.

Very surprising.

Very surprising.

Why would be that surprising? There occurred many moments during the last season, which made me wonder why she doesnt leave that old guy.

... and Petya -of course- left for Liza. I dont see any oddity.

Who will fix their poor jumps then?
