Not sure how available this is internationally - but if you scroll to the video that's called "Scott Hamilton Today Ep 3 - Skate to Win" - the last few minutes are awesome. They show Scott Hamilton talking about Nathan and they show him watching Nathan's long program at Nationals. There's also some cute footage of Raf being all giddy backstage and Maia/Alex talking to Scott about how crazy it was.

No. They're just friends. He asked her to prom with that famous promposal at TCC last year.

I have this magazine too and that was the first thing I noticed was Nathan not smiling. Usually he's very photogenic...Wish I had his energy. I have no clue how the skaters handle college too while they are skating. Amazing!Apparently this is from tonight's SOI. Nathan did 4T in his "Stole the Show" EX.

^^^I'll never forget at Nationals during his EX how he wagged his finger when he got to a certain point as if to say, "No - no quad here!" That simple gesture was such a hit with the audience and everyone really laughed. He is becoming quite the showman, and I think all these ice shows are a great experience for him.

); Adam; Karen; Meryl/Charlie; and Ashley.Sorry, I can't see what is at the weibo link, so I don't know whether it is the same video of Nathan.

To me, the significant subtext here is that Rachael prob. has taken it upon herself to alert the admissions office that Nathan would be a great "catch" for Stanford. National champion who has been highly successful internationally. Strong contender for the Olympic team with a realistic shot at the Olympic podium. Aspiring physician.
If so, Rachael has done a good favor both for Nathan
and for Stanford. He would be a great addition to any student body. Aside from being a skating champion and Olympian herself, Rachael was a leader on campus (e.g., active in student government, etc.), so I believe that an "endorsement" from her would carry some extra weight compared to one from "any ol'" other alum.(It was nice of Rachael to arrange the tour as well, but that was prob. relatively easily done, unless it was something above and beyond a standard admissions tour.)
