2017 GP Skate Canada Pairs SP

I wish I had a better understanding of Russian to English translation. Lubov, Liubov, Luba?! After three seasons with Dylan, I still don't know which is right.

OH MY GOD, MY MOM (still alive) AND MY NANA (rip 2004 :() BOTH HAD ALL HER RECORDS WHEN I WAS GROWING UP!!! :ghug:

Aw..so sweet. My mom died in '83. She loved Nana. She also gave me my love of Tom Jones because her best friend dragged her to a concert and she was horrified by middle aged women throwing their bras on the stage. I figured (as a 9 year old at the time) that anyone who could get old ladies to throw their underwear had to be pretty cool.

At 9 yrs old, those middle aged women were probably in their twenties and thirties.

To be honest, I feel the same too... but that's not to say that if they skate absolutely clean every single time from now until and including Nationals and beating some famed pairs (such as P/J) along the way... then they could be in serious contention.

Yea, 63 with that skate... definitely S-K/K for the Olympics.

It is starting to feel like all of the shall we say unmarried USA pairs are starting to get lowballed by judges. It is like they don't need the scores as we already know who we are sending. I have seen a lot of USA pairs scores that seem a bit low lately.

Aww, 1983! Only Nine years old! That's so sad. :sad21: I'm sorry you lost her so young. :(

Heck, I was born in '83, I can't even imagine that length of time...

(Ahem: quiet, suspender boy, we're having a nice conversation here, no need to start the Sarah age debate again.)
