No after nationals when she wasn’t selected she decided to take the rest of the season off to consider whether she should return to skating again. She’s not sure, and will decide in the summer months while training.

I think she's in the process of changing her career and has refocused her life in a new direction. Similar to Adam.

Bradie NEVER stated she thought she deserved a bronze. Don’t make stuff up.

I think she knows she’s weaker than the rest technically, and doesn’t want to hang on to the bitter end and lose her jumps like Mao. So she may want to come back right now, but is it worth it in the long run, because it would bring bad bash for her to retire mid Olympic cycle.

And why is nobody mentioning Karen in who will get a spot next year? She could easily be the top US lady if she gets her jumps figured out. REALLY hope she works with a specialist over off season.

She has potential, but she’s had it forever with little to no delivery. I REALLY like Karen, I just don’t know if she will ever go to a specialist, she seems pretty attached to Tammy emotionally, which is hard to leave and improve upon as a skater/coach relationship

JACKIE said that!? Oh, sorry, I seriously didn’t know, did not mean to spread lies! I thought they were referencing her herself because they referenced satoko and the axel... my mistake!

What is disastrous is making statements like this. Other than someone remarking on here that Bradie should have gotten bronze, where did you get that she was sour? Proof please!

I know she won't leave but, I think Karen needs better coaching. She has so many qualities but she hasn't seemed to put them all together this season. She's still young and I don't like that people seem to be writing her off this early in her career.

You’re good, I realize that my post came of harsh. Yes, Jackie wrote a “hot take” about Bradie potentially getting bronze.
He also made a comment about Satoko and triple axels as well.

She's been so awfully inconsistent, even nationally. She went from 3rd to 8th to 1st to 3rd again. And she's done almost nothing Internationally, save a 4th at last year's Worlds. She hasn't even medalled on the GP circuit. She wouldn't have made my Olympic team. She hasn't put her qualities together any season, except arguably last year, and her only International medals were bronzes in a couple of CS events.
It's enough that Bradie finished 4th in the FS and 6th overall. With a 'normal' caller she would have scored close to 140 in the FS. It's a bit ridiculous that she skated two eye clean programs at Worlds, but scored only 7 total points higher than she did at the Olympics, where she had a fall in the SP and two big mistakes in the FS.
Anyway, at this juncture she is the only US lady in the top 24 Seasons Best total Scores, at #14. Mirai is next at #25.
