Nathan is trying to be lowkey about the school situation, he is a very sweet and polite kid, and would answer any question he is comfortable to reveal, but I really would like the media to respect what type of person he is and won't "harass" him with too many questions about coaching and Yale.
As to Raf, I always have problems with his interview to some degree, but I do think he should be given the credit for what he has done for Nathan (OG is a different story where lots of party failed to me). True they had difficult times in the past, but both Raf and Nathan are learning from their past experiences, and I do think Raf cares about Nathan despite issues they had before. IIRC, the TSL interview with Dough Haw mentioned that Raf is much warmer to Nathan compared with Adam and Ashley. I was troubled when I first read the interview about Raf talked about that it was easier to work with Adam and Ashley, but the more I think about it, it made senses to me, after all, Adam and Ashley are grownups who can communicate easily while Nathan was a teenager at that time, and still teenager now. Teenagers are headache sometimes, BO has to deal with teenagers issues himself, which he credited Tracey Wilson for being understanding about it. Having issues with Nathan sometimes doesn't mean he doesn't care about him or he is not a priority for Raf. And even from the post OG interview which I really don't like to read, Nathan to Raf is still a kid, and he would like to help as much as he can.
Given the uncertainty of how Nathan is going to balance skating and Yale, IMHO, a drastic change would not be wise for Nathan at this time. As smart and talented as he is, after all, he hasn't been in a normal school for several years. After reading lot Yale's policy, BTW, there is a thread about Nathan and Yale on that FSU board with some really legitimate concerns expressed, it seems to me the more important thing is for him right to get Yale to commit to help him with scheduling and other support stuff. Yale is not that flexible and accommodating with student athletes in the past compared with other Ivies, don't know how much it has changed.

The unsigned stuff is cheap, so you can buy them and get him to sign them at Sun Valley. Could even bring extra to sell on ebay to help pay for your trip. LOL
checked Chinese weibo a bit, regarding Phill's article about Raf's students

you know what I will do, I will make some art work about Nathan myself and then make it photo size and print it out at drugstore
and let Nathan sign them when I meet him. and even give him one if he likes it.
and then I will take a photo of the signed my artwork of Nathan and posted it online and receive all the likes

Just pre-ordered on AMAZON JP, can't believe I actually have an account with them from long time ago.
you may check out his own art work on insta (mostly photography), to figure out his art taste.
and then stalk his likes on insta besides pretty girls, NBC and Nike shoes.

He seems to like black and white aesthetics, but it may be just a joke.

Don't print in drug store, take it to a more professional printer so they will not fade when you pass it down to your grandchildren.
I think that’s because they are afraid they might not be his priority. I can see Jason Brown benefiting from working with RAF. Even on the part time basis.

to answer a few questions while I was in the penalty box, so eager to try out my first quad
1, pass the torch logic, Yuna to Karen, maybe some new figure skating fans are not aware of this, but a few years back, Karen showed lots of promises and raw talent that many long time figure skating fans including Yuna fans saw some similarity to Yuna and considered Karen maybe the next big thing (And Karen used to be a huge Yuna fan in those good old days). But things did not go as fans expected.
2. Ash's SS. IMO I don't think the ice dance number is a good measurement of Ash's SS, the steps are quite simple to differentiate. Also, Ash's perform is poised, she wanna give a effortless allure vibe thus some of the steps she does seemed half a** it, compare to Nathan, he is full out. Speaking of Ash's SS, she generally has great smooth glide in simple in-between skating (with good posture), only is lacking during difficult stsq foot work. Nathan is kinda the opposite, fantastic at difficult foot work, but could be impatient/raw during simple glides/steps. Also, I wanna mention a little thing of Nathan's dance. Nathan's very musical, he innately anticipates the steps with great musical timing, but occasionally, he is so eager, he may rush the timing a tiny bit.
3, yes, the ice dance with Ash is getting better, but some of the steamy photos maybe disguising, Posture maybe just a little better(nah not really). Nathan got some latin flavor (such as body roll, but still not at Ciz level tho
4, Nathan’s blue T-shirt in the ice dance number probably is the best costume he ever had, maybe it is because it is tucked in and somehow could not get out like his white shirt.
5, the comparison video made by our lovely @frida80, Not just the choreo step sequence change, he indeed took out some precious transitions, not only upperbody/arm dance moves, but also blade work too, e.g. waltz jump. rocker turns, and multi-directional turns/skating after jump landing (all these are intentionally designed by Lori). Overall, the structure is still there and Nathan’s innate musicality made sure every thing is done according to music phrasing thus is not as obvious.
6, all the hair talk, while I was in the penalty box, I just found every comment about Nathan's hotness , hair etc. being super cute and I love it

You are so missed when I read discussion about his hair, dance with Ashley last weekend. Hopefully next show is coming, we are going to have lots of pictures and videos to enjoy, and this thread is going to move at Nathan speed again.

Also, please keep on "Nitpicking" on Nathan and keep your little notes updated about your expectation/improvement Nathan needs, and pass those to him when you meet him one day
I wouldn't be too hard on Mariah since she literally found out she was going to Worlds 2 days before leaving. That said, it could be Raf's male students are pushing themselves to keep up with Nathan. I know in an interview Adam called Nathan his "secret weapon." And I wonder if that could have contributed to Patrick doing so well last season and then losing motivation this year.

I think that'll be a great time! Sun Valley looks like it will be a really fun venue to see people. Just the fact that it's outside seems so cool! I love that, ONLY 788 miles. You sound like me!!!!!
