😄 I’m sure there are plenty of girls who want to party with him haha, I wonder how many daily tweets will be showing up after he officially starts school. The pull will be real.

truly, one of the best Nemesis performances I've seen, even though I missed the 3rd leap during the footwork sequence, and the last spin and final pose may have suffered from his exhaustion after 4 consecutive tour days.

Music Choices/Predictions for Nathan Chen

He had some excellent music choices last season - both new - which were well received by the judges and won him World gold. What do you think Nathan Chen will choose this season?
 
The Yale theme song would be rather fitting :biggrin:

Maybe the fight song sung by the Wiffenproofs. Cheer for Eli !!
 
why not the music when harry potter goes to hogwarts.... i'd love seeing nathan skate with his glasses on ;)
 
I've never heard the Yale theme but it would be a good plug for them. And Harry Potter is perhaps a bit too juvenile (although now I'm picturing Peter and the wolf throwback Chen skating to it!). :biggrin:

“I don’t want to spend all day at a rink outside of what I already do, and I feel like I can contribute way more if I have a college education versus if I don’t,” he said.

On Monday morning, Chen said, he checked out the Champions ice rink, a potential practice site located 30 minutes away from campus. According to its website, the facility has hosted two U.S. Olympic hockey teams, as well as several Olympic and world skating champions. Kathleen Shea, the director of operations for Champions Ice Management, told the News that Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, Canadian ice dancers who finished seventh in the 2018 Winter Olympics, practiced at the rink before heading to this year’s winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. In general, top professional skaters can use the rink for free and during off-hours, Shea added.

Wow, only 30 minutes away, free, and he can use it off-hours. That’s awesome and really convenient for him. Probably even more convenient than his training has been in LA where he’s had to travel to different ice rinks to get ice time so having one spot that’s not that far away and flexible with his hours is great. Really excited for him, seems like it’s coming together :)

This probably means there’s some coaches nearby that can help him when he’s not with Raf since they’re used to elite level skaters training there.

I would like to continue with a contemporary theme for the SP and something more classic or a mix of soundtracks for the FS (I would like Nathan to skate Ravel's Bolero not only for a few seconds in an EX, I will continue to dream) :dance2:

PS1: Nathan seems to really be enjoying touring Yale :agree:

Some of the comments - people asking their friends why they aren’t in the pic, calling them useless, someone commenting I don’t even know where on campus this is

One girl being asked why she’s not here: I have lots of regrets for my life choices these couple days :(

Another girl: when u honestly just chose upenn as a joke and now ur stuck with ur life choices bc u rlly shoulda chosen yale like u were supposed to and life sux bc nathan chen b at yale and wat is life

This is just too funny - and maybe the excitement will die down or maybe it won’t - I mean it’s NATHAN
