Alina Zagitova

Any idea about when are we going to see Alina in next competition?
Russia test skates... But I guess that's not considered a competition. In that case, likely her first GP assignment, whichever that ends up being. There's also the chance that she will do a challenger before the GP... But I doubt we'll see her before August.

She can participate in some new shows though.. I heard she has lots of invitations (incl. Plushenko and Averbukh shows).

Thanks to every single person for making it so much fun. May we all get through the off season together! :ghug:

Thank u guys, too. It's great to find people who share the same interests as you (especially when figure skating is not so popular in countries like mine:sad4:). Also what I wanted to say is that is amazing how fantastic skaters like Alina increase figure skating's popularity, even myself I evolved from a "important competitions" figure skating viewer to "I wanna see every competition, even the novice/juniors ones, I wanna know everything that happens in figure skating world and share with other people my opinions about them" viewer. And I am sure that other people have increased their involvement and love for figure skating, after they were all amazed by this little, but so strong Tatar Princess.:luv17: She is indeed an ambassador for figure skating, and that is really something to be remembered.

In the end of August in Sochi training camp, open scates

Yup, at least until then we will find out the new rules and changes after the ISU Congress from early June (and see how they could impact Alina's programs) and probably in late June we will know her GP assignments.

I do not think so, she is an active athlete, participation in the show will break the training process

- Your father (Ilnaz Zagitov)is now training the club "Izhstal". Do you follow each other's success with your father?
- Of course, I always watch live broadcasts of matches "Izhstal" Dad always asks me: "Well, did you look?".
- In that case, for sure, remember how your dad played It was not so long ago.
- Yes, I remember how my mother and I watched the matches, when Izhstal played in the final of the VHL, we just jumped on our nerves, very worried.
- A match in the semifinals, where Izhstal and the THC fought in full force, including coaches - Andrei Razin and Alexei Zhdahin, also saw?
- Yes, I did. I think that, of course, coaches should not fight each other. So, we then in the ice palace hung a torn and bloody shirt of Andrei Razin

I hope we get to see her on more shows, it is a great chance to practice performing and be more artistic. She seems to enjoy it a lot. I've been following some of the upcoming shows pages to check which skaters will perform.

Wish she would get to go to one of the other shows in Japan, I loved seeing all the Japanese media pieces with her and that was great fun. Training schedule permitting it would be great.

Yes Yes Yes - Alina is "BIG IN JAPAN!!!!" I'm hoping if she does that Waran will post here again with more info. I'm also hoping there will be video of the TV show that she filmed with Katelyn Osmond and Javier Fernandez. I have no idea if it even aired in Japan yet.
