I hope she keeps sharing too. I hope also that she copes well with this new found fame and the pressures that come with it - the scrutiny of her online activity and behaviour in person. I felt a tinge sad/stressed when I saw camera-phones trained on her whilst she was feeding the flamingoes - I wish that she could have some privacy, but on the other hand, I enjoyed seeing those videos of her. Argh, so conflicted I am.

I think she'll be OK. She's been on Japanese TV twice and did a skype (?) interview when Masaru was presented to the public.

She's got nothing to worry about with her online activity. She rarely posts pictures on instagram and her stories are wonderful.

I don't even have the slightest idea what Madison was talking about earlier.

Being a figure skater - she obviously enjoys attention - but that is while performing - not in private life.

I think so too! But her cleaning up of instagram perhaps shows that there is (or she is aware of) more scrutiny.

Unfortunately the more famous someone becomes the more guarded they have to be.

I would hope that people would respect her privacy. Even one of the videos from that parade day in Moscow. The guy behind her is calling "Alina Alina" and she turns around looking bewildered. There is a big difference between fans at the Korean Ice Show having their pictures taken with her and some random guy marching behind her calling out her name and filming her.

So true in this day and age - always be cautious.

A few years ago, there was an ex-baseball player who posted some pictures of his daughter (who I believe had won a sports scholarship?) on twitter and then some internet punks made all kinds of lewd, crude, sexual comments about her. He was able to track some of them down and they were either fired from jobs or kicked out of school. The disgusting nature of some people is impossible to explain.

Please share your analysis with us! I looked through and can't make head or tail.

I’d vote for that red dress Dreams piece picture too, but I’m fine with the pink panther hanging out with us a little bit longer.

Hard to come up with a single reason for the summer cleaning. Sadly I can’t remember most of the missing 47 pictures. From what I can remember:

1) she had a picture with Sabina and a birthday cake from last year (also at the Dominican Resort) that’s gone.

2) picture of zefirska (or the other chinchilla) seating on the lap of the Hanyu Pooh (that was featured in the Japanese show she was interviewed), that picture she posted as a “suggest names for my new pet” post. I think she called it a naming contest. That’s gone.

3) she had a picture in a pool with Diana, showing them from the chest up. That’s gone.

4) she had a picture with the album she got after the Olympics (hard cover from RusFed) that is now gone.

So no common thread, apart from the chinchilla [emoji23][emoji23], all other people/subjects are still featured (Diana is on a video, Sabina is on other posts, the Olympics is in other posts).

The dress that Dianna is wearing seems to me to be identical to the dress Alina wore to the inauguration. It's entirely possible they each have their own version of that dress. It was an assumption on my part that Alina borrowed it from her, or Diana might have given it to her.

The dress on the right is very similar in style to the dress that Alina wore to World's banquet in Milan and I agree must be from the same designer.

Btw, I think Alina should wear dresses with a really high waist and that not emphasize her chest, she doesn't have very much hips and she looks a bit unproportioned in the two pink dresses...

Well Russian to English from Japanese to Russian might have been a little too much for Google Translator to take, but from what I could make:

- Alina's Grandma (who they actually named in the piece by her first name) picked the green dress for Alina to wear to the shoot. She thought the color would look more like a serious grown up person. Alina looked at the picture later and couldn't believe it was her.
