it may just be because of a realization that her programs would have been better with her in white boots over tights.![]()

So many emotional pictures taken. Love all the pics of Yuna with Team Korea. The one she had with Scott and Tessa but this set is still the most heartbreaking one: https://twitter.com/xiwang228/status/998886416221257729?s=21 (The hug between Yuna and Wilson. Still the most iconic skater+choreographer for me.)
omg!
I want video of that!
Such a beautiful relationship! :sad4:
Seeing V/M and Yuna together once again makes me so happy :luv17:. Yuna and Tessa are my eternal queens
Today I was listening to the radio and this piece came up, and I was like huh, weird...so familiar, and then I realized it was Yuna’s FS from Vancouver (yeah I listen to classical music on the radio)...Concerto in F. They said the name at the end. Hearing it in its original form, I’m actually impressed how they (whoever did her programs) were able to edit this complex and somewhat chaotic piece into such a cohesive and beautiful program. I don’t know why, but I feel like that program is a bit underrated, even though she won the Olympics with it. Seems like people are drawn to her more “iconic” programs like Bond, and Les Miserables, but I actually find this program to be one of my favorites, behind only Danse Macabre.

I logged in just so I could give this comment a thumbs up. THE two GORGEOUS Ice Queens of the modern era. Any poll about the most sexiest, beautiful, etc, female figure skaters should always begin with these two. Nothing is more appealing to me then a beautiful woman dancing or skating beautifully and needless to say, Tessa and Yuna are my most favourite skaters.
music edited by Master David Wilson and his music editing team!!!!!
Not just Gershwin, if you have listened to her other programs, like Adios Nonino's original tracks, Giselle, KoV etc, you will marvel again at what a genius David Wilson and his music editing team is. Absolutely the best in figure skating program music editing.
all of Yuna's programs are music editing master pieces.
Will definitely check out those songs too...but yeah I agree, Yuna’s music was always very well done. As someone who likes to make fan edited skating videos, I just really appreciate how crazy hard it is to make something flow together so well. Even though it’s not the original form, I feel like the editing itself tells a story. And wow, I never knew she had a music editing specialist working with her too. I’ve always just assumed it was the coaches or choreographer who does all that stuff. Cool. Guess she knows good people (which is why I am happy that Evgenia is moving to Yuna’s old coach). My favorite example of music editing in figure skating is still Sasha Cohen’s Romeo and Juliet from the Olympics though (hehe, biased), but this Concerto in F is on the same level for me.

And ATS ended with a See You Next Year note. So nothing is closed yet.

I liked seeing her back, but I hope she has a better program next season.

I thought you'll gonna wait until next week before you criticize?![]()

@Izabela
you should listen to the original version of Adios Nonino, you will understand how genius David Wilson and Music editing team is.
their music edting project for figure skating programs are not just cut and splice together, they have added tracks, special sound effect, volume fine tuning etc. even wrote new melody etc. if needed.
my most respected music editing team in figure skating community and IMHO their effort and the art in their work is vastly under appreciated in current figure skating artistic scores.
Well, technically it is the next weekBut I won't be critiquing it anymore haha She can do so much more than this, though.
But that's the whole beauty of this program though; its entire simplicity. It wasn't meant to be groundbreaking, nor meant to be masterful or choreographically original. It's a very nostalgic program that seems to hearken back to her earlier days when what dominates her exhibition programs is simply the way she is moved by music.![]()
