That is like the BEST news ever!!! After Masaru of course, but I'm so happy she is doing another show in Japan. We will tons of goodies. And it will be wonderful. I'm super happy for her.

That is super nice....and she got a box of chocolates and flowers as gifts. I see a wall with "Alina Zagitova attended this school" in the future, if they decide to use a mannequin I'd suggest ditching the "Sinead O'Connor" look used at the Moscow Museum, Alina has such nice hair.

Wow such a busy day! I am happy to see all that love and respect that Alina receives from everyone in Izhevsk. And she is so patient, she lets everyone take photos with her. :luv17: That message from Jaroslav Semenov, "Alina Zagitova - Olympic champion, the pride of Udmurtia and all of Russia!", is so beautiful and kind.
I am waiting now for the new Royal Wedding, so excited to finally see Alina and Masaru together :luv17: And to see her ice skating in july and august, that's great news for us. Hope it won't interfere with her training, but I'm sure Eteri would not let her participate if it did.

Our royal wedding of the year: Masaru & Alina, I have to say, with so much news, photos and videos the off season is zipping by. Not a dull moment.

I'm so happy she is doing The Ice in Japan, first because I know we will get a bounty of goodies from her being there, second because they are placing her as the female headliner (she is first on the list and appears as first female on the rolling banner they have on the site). That is a nice position to see her.

Maybe they only confirmed it now because they had to talk to her, and her coaching team, to get her acceptance and everyone was on vacation. I'm sure that she (and her team), as with all other issues, she took training needs into account. Also, this is a great opportunity for her, to get more millage doing artistic presentations without an eye for competition, and also to get marketing promotion. IMG is doing this show (they are one of the largest Entertainment/Sports management firms, and represent a ton of US sports people - including figure skaters). Nice to see Alina in the big leagues of figure skating entertainment.

Alina is such a great figure skater ambassador. I am sure that her success has inspired many young girls and boys to pursue a figure skating career. And that is something amazing, something that will last many more years from now on. :luv17:

Alena cannot keep a secret! I wish we could thank her for such good info. Alina does not need to do quads or 3a at this point.
