Alina Zagitova

She looks quite happy/relaxed in the photo so no stress! :)

Is her school right there in the same compound as the skating rink? I didn't realize!

Same here..but seems like it:

Today the Sports and Education Center "Sambo-70" is a complex of sports facilities located throughout the South-West administrative district of Moscow. In fact, Sambo-70 is one of the largest sports associations in the capital and in Russia, which is responsible for the development of physical culture and sports for a whole 1,500-million administrative district.
The main feature of the Sports and Education Center "Sambo-70" is a unique method of combining training and educational processes, when the child is simultaneously working and the coach and teacher. More than 1,100 children not only go in for sports, but also receive secondary education in Sambo-70.

I've read that the results will be known only on 9-12 June. So we'll have to wait a little bit. But Alina said that she's prepared for the exams, so I trust her and I think she'll receive great marks

I'm not at all worried about her results, she is OGM, sure that her teachers can find a way for liiittle help to Alinka.
No one has heard about the Olympic champions failing the exams

That came to my mind too, but come on, we speak about Alina, she is not that kind of pupil who wouldn't prepare properly :)

I mean, that‘s probably part of the deal if you‘re famous like Alina but I do find it a bit weird that all her school exams result will be known to us, the public. That‘s not exactly something I would love to have published. What if she does badly at an exam? I mean, she probably doesn‘t but she‘s only human so what if?

„Olympic Champion fails at exams!“

That‘s not something I‘d like to read in the newspapers? I‘m not that worried about Alina failing, she‘ll probably do fine but I still don‘t understand why her results need to be published.

I agree, results of her exam should not be announced or published in any media sites even if she pass it they should keep it private imo let alina enjoy a bit of privacy.

I don't think we need to know exact results, we are just expecting some happy picture with the description "I've got it!" or something like that. That's why we even discuss it, because her (and other girls like Dasha) are posting pictures that matters to it (learning, going to school in school uniform etc.). If they wouldn't want to share it publicly, I wouldn't be curious.

You mean her detailed results will be published?! [emoji33] Is this a practice in Russia or was there some annoucement that it will be disclosed?

I always assumed that we will just see “I passed!” caption on a photo showing Masaru chewing up her books on instagram or something.

I think its their (Alina's and grandma's) appartment, I noticed that glass-walled side in one of the videos.

Thank for the Ded Moroz info, love to know about traditions in other countries (here is all Santa, Santa, Santa ).

You think it is? I was a bit confused by the view to be quite honest, their apartment in Moscow has a balcony before you can see the street (Alina actually walked outside into the balcony in one of her older periscopes and showed the view). But then again, the new one also has balconies in the master bedroom and living room.

But you may be right!!

I'm not 100% sure, of course, so you can be right as well.

As for the customs, in some countries, incl. mine, saying Santa is like commit deadly sin, it is considered as unwanted import :) E. g. in my country we have "Ježíšek", which means "Little Jesus" or "Baby Jesus" (which is funny because we are probably the most atheist country in the world, but tradition is tradition :) ) and even if in shops can be seen Santa ofthen during christmas (bussiness corporations doesn't care about local traditions), in public opinion it is largely rejected. Also if you are interrested, we are giving gifts not on 25th december morning, but on 24th december evening (christmas evening).
