According to this lovely website it is indeed the way you say “come” to a dog http://www.russiandog.net/russian-dog-commands look for the word and play the audio file.

On the flip side: what little she does say in English is pronounced so well that I bet if she was saying it in English it would sound perfect.

Well I can rejoice in the knowledge that if I were a dog in Russia I would know how to come when called based on sound similarities alone [emoji190][emoji23]

That website will be on my bookmarks for future Alina and Masaru reference. I hope we don’t hear “fas” anytime soon [emoji23]

Alina’s two GP series events have yet to be announced, my thoughts were that she would get GP of France (Nov 23-25) and Cup of China (2-4). Added bonus of being current winner of both last season.

Cup of China is no more... it will probably be held by South Korea if they accept, China dropped the ball today (see tweet https://twitter.com/ifsmagazine/status/1006562559468736512?s=21).

South Korea will have positive vibes for Alina too.

She mentioned wanting GP of Japan to fans (Nov 9-11), maybe she’ll get that instead of former China?
 
Watching Fantasy on Ice Kanazawa just got me thinking again about Alina’s next Ice Show in Japan (the Ice).

Will she debut a new EX or a version of a new (or old) SP. Carolina Kostner did on this FaOI show what’s rumored to be her new future competition SP to “Back to Black”. I love that song and the program really rocked.

So now i wonder about Alina, from Daniil’s and Eteri’s roster they have a compilation of songs from that 80s musical “Chess” (they used it for Polina T’s FS in 2015:16) that would lend itself quite well for an EX piece. With the plus that it hasn’t been used to death in Figure Skating (only other time was 2002).

Or maybe they’ll go with a new EX with a more unusual vibe to it (like her current Afro Blue one).

Anyway, I’m super curious...

This last year was really incredible...she evolved so much, in such a short time. And it was a beautiful time for her, during which she gathered unforgettable experiences. Oh this off-season is so long.. :sad21: I want the season to start and see Alina competing again. She will be different, as she is a different person than the one from the last season. :luv17::love:

Off season is finally killing me, thank god in a little bit we will have GP assignment news (which should rock the boat and bring some news), then test skates (last year we had video of those), then "The Ice" which should bring videos, photos, maybe interviews and if we are really lucky some more Japanese TV Shows (I wanna see another Game Show with Alina so bad I might write to the station asking for it).
