Alina Zagitova

Since we're talking about her future, how do you think Alina will be in 10 years? A coach? An actress? A zoo owner? The president of the Akita Inu's foundation? Izvhesk's mayor?

Jumping quad lutz-loop and having a Kostner like career obviously ;) Other than that: Hosting „Akita On Ice“ shows with Masaru as the star guest.

Ten years from now she’ll be 26.

First I hope she’s super happy, feels loved, has her pets with her, a nice home and has completed her education.

For my own enjoyment I would love for her to still be competing, like Kostner who is 31, but either way I hope she is having some fun and holding her own skating Ice Show like Mao and Hanyu do now.

If she is no longer Skating competitively I’m sure she’ll be coaching or creating choreo and programs for orhers. Maybe she’ll be a female version of Daniil.

Just realized something: since Japan Open is a FS only competition we will probably see Alina’s FS for the new season for the first time, in all its glory, right then and there.

Well... I think we'll get a good first view of it in the russian open skates, that usually takes place at the beginning of September. Japan Open is almost a whole month after.
But of course it doesn't have the official air of Japan, with their gigantic (and amazing) crowd, and we'll probably won't see the costume until then. I think we're all dying with excitment already, but what's eating me is that every year she has gotten sooo much better than the one before, the difference between her in 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 is monstrous, even more on 2017-2018. Even with that in mind, I don't think she'll get much better on the technical aspect, but seeing how Medvedeva, that arguably (in my very personal opinion) hasn't changed much since her junior years, showed a big gap between her first and second year on seniors on her confidence and control on the ice, makes me expect a lot of Alina on her season debut as olympic champion.
I guess only time will tell, if this isn't a succesful season I'm sure there will be others and no matter what happens I'll still be cheering for this amazing girl.

I'm sorry for all the spelling and grammar mistakes, and for the maybe repeated ideas from this thread. Btw hi! big fan here.

So glad she is attending. Alina is the
Hottest foreign skater in Japan right now with the whole Masaru news.

Didn't she say she is interested in coaching?

Welcome to Alina’s fan fest eba and Amef.

Great points eba!! I want to see what Alina will bring to the table this next season and I agree with you, her progress from 2015-2016 has been amazing.

Amef, recently when she was in Izhevsk and had a masterclass with young skaters she mentioned she would like to be a coach some day, well into the future for now.

I’m looking forward to test skates to see the programs and the music for both. Then at Japan Open we will get to see the costume for her free skate, exciting times ahead.

Daniil's reaction after 3Lz-3Lo is pricess :laugh::thumbsup:
Edit: And Eteri's ending pose... I would like to see it alive. Thic "cold" woman is in fact full of emotions.
Emotions?
Don't you know Eteri trains only young girls to suck their pre-puberty blood keeping her young and alive? She's a coaching vampire, that can't feel emotions.;)

ps. I didn't make it up actually, just read it on some Russian forum :noshake:
