2018-19 Russian Ladies' figure skating

Ah, thank you. I‘ve only started really following juniors this season so I don‘t know a whole lot about them yet. The end of summer does seem a bit late, doesn‘t it, though?
last season... it was so much fun.....:laugh2:
Sometimes we were forced to wait for the draw to find out who was competing.
We've been praying for Alena to get the second GP spot after she won her first GP event.

all:unsure:Siberians were laughing as quickly:love:Alena put on:laugh2:rivals on JGP..............

I must have missed something here, as it seems. Please have mercy on me, why am I getting laughed at?

Russia might release a list of 20 or so subs for every single event and it's a mystery who's going to compete until about 3 days before the competition.

:sad21:Pogo and Gubanova don't have spots ... I don't understand why because I don't think: elena radionova, konstantinova, samodurova, tuktamysheva did better last season to get spots

But I'm happy for Daria Panenkova ( i like the underdog)

I hope Pogo can get the rostecolm host spot ... and Gubanova can get Finland Host spot ... I girl can dream

I am hoping that russia do that in the seniors event too ... I will be hoppingo for Pogo comeback

French gate for EM is not easy - Kihira, Mihara & Tennell are able to stop her. Especially Tennell. She doesn't post food, drink, or walk around. She plows in the truest sense of the word.

EM won't survive Canada. Will be trampled by all : Tuktik, Gabriellka, Higuchi, Yamashita, Tursynbayeva, Panenkova.

Okay, what the heck? How will Yamashita beat Medvedeva, for example? How will Tennell beat her? Kihira, Tuktmaysheva, Daleman, Tursynbaeva, for example, hardly ever skates clean. Wakaba often makes mistakes, Mihara sometimes gets calls on random things. If Zhenya is healthy, she will win it all.

Wow!

Alina getting Rostelekom is big. It's clear indicator she became feds number one now.
Two weeks ago she doubted they'd give her a home spot. The shy queen. :)

Zagitova has been Russia's Number 1 since Medvedeva's injury last winter :)

when will she recover?

The most interesting thing is that both Olympic:medal"Champion were combined at the same stages. Find:cool14:out the secret:popcorn:games of ISU.

Of course Elena Radionova did better last season, 3rd at CoC 4th at CoR and these were the hardest GP events, 1st in shanghai against Maria

I think the second GP for Daria Panenkova was not necessary, they could give it to Gubanova.

Happy for Alina‘s host spots. Rostelekom! Just what she wanted! :)

And I seriously cannot wait to see Polina again. I‘m hoping so, so much that she does great. Go, Polina!!

Evgenia should do okay even though her spots are clearly tough. If Kihira lands her 3A‘s and the 3A-3T, she‘s a real contender. Carolina‘s at one of her GPs, too. Daleman’s going to be pushed in Canada. But Bradie‘s not going to be a threat to any of the top Russian ladies, I‘d say. Let‘s wait and see.

Tuktamysheva‘s 3A will be exciting to see! It does look quite solid from training videos, so...
