Gulyakova took silver last year and haven't stepped on JGP ice ever again. :confused2:
Gulyakova didn't have such powerful coach as Eteri.

Scoring is unclear to me with all the changes. Do you think Anna can win with one fall on a quad, while others are clean?
"At the test skates I lived with Anya Shcherbakova. Dang, she is so cool!
I'm very pleased, that I lived with her. It's so cool with her (smile). She's a very good human.
Such a tiny little angel. (smile)"

If Anna's clean otherwise as well? Definitely, she should win pretty easily. Falling on an underrotated 4Lutz is still fine, she shouldn't be losing in BV. If everyone's SPs are clean, I see Anna having an advantage there.Scoring is unclear to me with all the changes. Do you think Anna can win with one fall on a quad, while others are clean?

Have you noticed how often the word "angel" is used to describe Anya? Maybe she is an actual one? :luv17:"At the test skates I lived with Anya Shcherbakova. Dang, she is so cool!

But she doesn't like to do 1 mistake - none or a lot of. I wanna be mistaken but afraid she will mess up some other elements in case of the fall.
https://www.isu.org/statisticsFurther to the introduction of the +5 / -5 GOE, all statistics start from zero for the season 2018/19. All previous statistics are now historical.

Newer photos of Anna at test skates!
I love when she throws the snow towards the end. She looks so joyful. Such a lovely short program :agree:

4Lz with -5 it's still 5.75, it's about 3Lz +0 or -1 and much better than 2A +5. Even 4Lz< -5 equal 2A +3Unfortunately it will be very difficult to win with fall. For the fall is -5 GOE, it means -50% of the value of the jump. I hope she can pull herself together and skate clean.
New rules, take a look on page 15: https://www.isu.org/inside-single-p...ications-fs/17142-isu-communication-2168/file
Provided her SP is clean, Anna should have a slight advantage from the SP because she seems (correct me if I’m wrong) to be the only one doing 3Lz-3Lo. She might also have a bit of a PCS advantage from the SP because it’s such a beautiful program, but given junior PCS scoring, I don’t think anyone’s willing to bet on that.
That tiny advantage from the 3Lz-3Lo in her SP and FP should also help a little if she really does underrotate and fall during that 4Lz. Even excluding the 4Lz, I think her SP and FP layout will probably be one of the hardest at Bratislava. Two triple lutzes and triple flips, and two out of three combos in the back half. Hopefully it all works out for her!
