It‘s not an Olympic Gold Medal, it‘s THE Olympic Gold. And it‘s hers!! But my god, six months already. That seems so long. It feels like barely two months ago but it has been... HALF A YEAR?? Whaaaat? :shocked:

I‘m not fond of negativity but honestly, poor Alina for being dragged into so much coaching-change-issues this off-season... I mean, it’s not her business but Zhenya and Dasha are her close friends so I hope they will be able to overcome this and not let it influence who they are and how they interact with each other. Dasha has written some very nice words about Alina after she left, so I don‘t think this will be an issue from the girls‘ side of view. More like from the coach(es). But I guess we‘ll see at test skates how all of this will turn out.

I'm sure Alina will stay on good terms with Evgenia, Polina and Dasha. They left coach Eteri so Alina won't see them much anymore so their friendships will suffer just from distance alone. But this is life. Its okay. After the Olympics someone in the media asked Alina if she thought her edging Zhenya for olympic gold would affect their relationship and she said she did not know. But I bet she knew but didnt want to say. Its okay this is sports and life.

So it's been already been six months since Alina won the olympic gold medal. I think I'm going to go to YouTube since find her short program and long programs at the Olympics and enjoy them all over again to celebrate her 6 months Olympic gold medal anniversary.

It happened in all threads, remember a while back when a bunch of pages disappeared (we were all sharing how we got to like Alina), staff mentioned they had a problem as they made a scheduled maintenance, maybe they fixed that and all pages returned?

Or maybe the default number of posts per page reduced? But I don't remember where exactly this is in settings to check it.
