Of course you have your opinion. Let the poster who asked watch them and decide for themselves. I enjoy Russian skaters (I’m married to a Russian myself, and we have a young daughter with dual citizenship that skates), but still watch TSL for their insight.

My opinion of TSL is not good.

Whatever valuable "insights" they may have are far outweighed by their catty, nasty remarks.

And don't get me started on their rumors and speculataions.

Since this is Alina's Fan-Fest and not TSL's I would be remiss if I didn't mention their "insights" after Worlds.

With a then current skater, they "speculated" that the reason Alina fell 3 times is that she hadn't eaten for days.
Concern trolling - and I say this because not one of them called Child Protective Services to rescue Alina from her evil coach.
No facts, no research, just rumor-mongering and gossip.
I believe that allusions were made about doping too, but I may be conflating this with other TSL interviews.

I'm sure they have added value in some ways (Aliona's interview as an example) but no thanks I'll pass.

A couple of "mean boys" dishing snark and insults is not very nice.

Did a little bit more digging and turns out your call and lesnar001's first call was also correct. When something is too good to be true, right?

If you don’t like Carmen be ready with that mute button because this year we have:

- Alina’s FS
- Kolyada’s FS
- Gabby Daleman SP (looks like she’s keeping it)
- Kovtun FS (no GP assignments I could find)

Kolyada and Alina have the same GPs, she’s not meeting Gabby in any GPs before the finals and their only common CS is Japan Open (only FS, so one Carmen).

Carmen gang is on!!

Oh if only one of them would skate to that, bonus if they pick a Karajan conducted piece, I’d be in heaven.

I generally dislike Karajan's interpretations - he somehow turns every composition into a march, but this is exactly what's needed for Carmen.

Instead of 1988's "Battle of the Carmens" this year will be "World War III of Carmens" except no program will be in direct competition with any other.

So I checked on Youtube and confirmed that Katerina Witt indeed used this in her Carmen LP
Hard to believe this was 30 years ago.
Still my favorite Carmen after all these years.
Then again I had a huge crush of Katerina Witt (me, Alberto Tomba, and a gazillion others)

Oh my...photoshop nowadays can make some things look so real. I was already starting to search for the actual selfie, it would have been epic, but who knows, maybe the girls will be inspired by this and really make one

When I looked at their legs going over each other, there I can see it was modified, but I wouldn't notice it by myslef
