Laurine Lecavelier

The senior ladies short starts in about 20 minutes, but looks like there's no way to watch it live, alas! Good luck, Laurine! Hopefully there will be a fan video or something.

Is there any link to the performance kevin?[emoji5]cant find anything on youtube.delighted she is off to a great start this season though with those scores!!
It's so great. This is one point higher than her ISU personal best score at the 2016 Trophée de France! And this with just a 3T-2T combination.

Sadly, there seems to be no video, and hardly any information at all. Not sure even what music she skated to. :/

But there is this picture from FFSG's Instagram where you can kind of see her new costume and hairstyle: https://www.instagram.com/p/BoPZZXkBuss/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=5kkt8umuyno1

Yes, hopefully! There is supposed to be a livestream of the event on FFSG's Facebook page tomorrow and Saturday. So, at any rate, there should be video of her FS on Saturday!

There was no live stream today. Laurine's SP is to Maktub 1 by Marcus Viana.

Thanks! I checked the results page and she's in the lead following the SP - let's hope she does a late Challenger so we get to see it before the Grand Prix...

ETA: That's gorgeous music - I'd go belly dancing to it! Hope she's going a bit more experimental with her choreography again, it would suit.

Here's a nice little article about the Ladies' and Pairs' SPs at the Masters de Patinage, which includes a short interview with Laurine: http://www.passion-patinage.com/201...ae-berenice-vanessa-et-morgan-impressionnent/

A quick summary:

*Laurine had a 3T3T programmed for her SO but switched to a 3T2T in the moment
*She now does a 3Lz tano, apparently it was very good
*The double axel isn't in the final moments of this program (well, it rarely is in her SPs)
*She had a good long holiday before getting back to training, which did her a lot of good
*She focused on the SP at first because of the Summer Cup and only started work on her FS two weeks ago!
*She chose all her music, and worked with Fabian Bourzat on the SP and Karen Kwan on the FS
*She's working on loop combinations - 3Lz3Lo, 3Lo3Lo etc
*She's not training the 3A as much as previously because of a hard fall on a spiral recently
*She also had a hard fall on a 2A3T combination (maybe a cracked rib?) but is all recovered now
*She's recently been diagnosed with some food intolerances and is finding a lactose-free, gluten-free diet very helpful

Thanks for the article, Harriet. :)
So sorry that she's had to deal with all of those injuries. It sounds horribly painful.

You're welcome! Poor Laurine does seem to be injury-prone, but I guess most skaters are, actually - she's just one who talks about it.

I just found another interview on that site, too! It was done at Worlds just after her free skate, and she confirmed in it that she does train the 3A seriously, and has been working on it for four years - she's got the rotations, the problem was her axis and landings, and Doug Ladret has helped her to correct her axis. She was training it off the harness at the ende of last season, working on the landing, because all the harness did was hit her in the head and give her bruises (oh dear, more injuries!).

She wanted to have the 3A down by Masters or Nationals. Can we hope for Nationals even now?

And then she and Kori joke (?) about doing quads, too, since she frequently overrotates her loop jumps - Kori says she should try a quad salchow, but apparently Laurine isn't fond of salchows even though she tends to do them well...
