My post/question isn’t about expected decorum, because I guess that goes with the territory even if it’s the last thing a skater wants to do after a disappointing skate (and sometimes leads to a media frenzy if he/she says something in the heat of the moment— e.g., Ashley’s “I’m furious” comment at 2018 US nationals). Rather, I’m wondering, could Misha’s obvious disappointment in himself be a positive sign about his training (and confidence) compared to last season? As I recall, last season he often expressed general satisfaction with performances that had big mistakes (and was criticized for that). I’m hoping that’s the case. In any event, I think at least one thing is for sure — being a fan of Misha is stressful, rather like a roller-coaster ride LOL, but we can’t help ourselves!
