He's done it twice before. At NHK 2015 and GPF 2015
 
Congratulations to Yuzuru. He was fighting on the landing of some of the jumps. I wish he would bring back the twizzle entry into the first spin and arching back movement in the step sequence (my favorite parts of the program). Wasn't there another part where throw himself into the air towards the end of the program?
In terms of performance, it was good but I felt he was not giving it all but it is understandable at the start of the season.
Is the previous entry into the first camel spin not considered "flying" camel spin if he does the previous entry?
Does anyone know what is the difference in base value between the current and previous layout.
Anyway that was great first Grand prix for Yuzuru.

what a great 1st GP event ever! no big mistakes and still so much room to improve, cant imagine whats gonna happen by the end of this season:yahoo::hap57: mentally he seems stronger too, and keeps finding himself new motivations, may he stay injury free and continue to shine brighter :luv17::love:
 
In his post FS interview with Matsuoka Shuzo Yuzu says he feels he's made a new start at last. He had not been able to win his first GP, so winning his first competition at last, and until now he had appeared in the first or second gp, the extra week or too gave him time to skate and train.
M: You said you wanted to enjoy yourself, but honestly you looked like you were fighting with yourself...
Today was a fight, the loop was not good, and the other elements also were a little off and my feet were getting tired, but I was able to fight through.
M: In the second half you were able to jump the 4T-3A the audience went wild
If it's not positive GOE then it means nothing, next time, I'll do it so that plus can be added.

But like the Gymnast Uchimura says, you have to end cleanly. I will only think it is a success if it is finished cleanly.

Never satisfied - he wants over 200 for the FS, given that it's for Plushy it would be EPIC to see him do it in Russia,

Okay, our Lord now has three more world records, bring it to FIFTEEN...

yes he does... remember the NHK Trophy and GPF 2015-2016 season he did get all the SP,FP and total combined

Plush wont be in Moscow. He will skate on Fernandez show....

Yuzu congrats on breaking the silver curse on first gp.
All hands down to your current world records.
And as for the quad A sigh Worlds 2019 tickets will be twice harder to get now. Keep healthy until then.
