4T looks slightly underrotated, but unless they changed the definition of full rotation from less than 1/4 of a rotation short to less than 1/4 of a degree short, the 4Lo was fine.

That wrong call cost him the over 300 point that he wanted. On the bright side, now he is hungrier for COR and we will have a feast, AGAIN

The second epiphany of the beloved husband: "Screw work, we are going to GPF, we have to watch this guy live once more."

Harsh reality: the GPF tickets are sold out :sad21::sad21::sad21:

Yuzu the Gala moved me to tears. No one can skate as emotional as you.

By the way.. No banquet for this event?

Everyone who got to see him Finland. Thank you for supporting him so well.
You all have been great representatives of the fandom. :points:

World record hattrick in the first GP of the season. Not bad [emoji23]

Yuzu's fighting spirit is unlimited, aye? He changed 5 of 7 jumping passes and... nailed them all. Three of them were a bit shaky or underrotated, but NO FALLS, NO POPS, NO EDGE CALL on the Flip :agree: and he seemed to fire up after every single jump. That cascade of combos at the end was jawdropping. Much better than the previous layout in my opinion.

The spin practice paid off, too. LV4 across the board. (The return of the butt-spin though... :slink: *sigh*)
Next on Yuzu's checklist: LV4 step sequence [emoji23]

Just one thing that bothered me: the (more or less) rhythmical clapping of the crowd during Origin. The music of the step sequence is so awesome, but the clapping somehow destroyed the magic. Don't know why... Anyone else, too?
Didn't he regularly get StSq Lvl 4 during H&L? Why is he suddenly gettiny Lvl 3s?

This season we had LV4 in Otonal at ACI, the other 3 sequences all received LV3.
Regarding step sequences the 16/17 season was his strongest by a landslide. Especially LGC was spot on with high GOE.

I think it depends a lot on the choreo itself. In Origin and Seimei there is not much room for the required 11 difficult steps and turns because of many other choreographic moves. Remember the popular cross rolls in Seimei. Yuzu had to replace one of them, otherwise it would have been LV2 even...
Plus: Yuzu was obviously focusing on the jumps and spins in Helsinki. The sequences and transitions weren't as sharp as we've seen them on media day. He skipped some steps here and there ;)

I'm really looking forward to Yuzu's refinements and development during this season :hap10:

I am madly in love with Origin and its promise, while there's a chance that - like LGC - it will never quite come to perfection, I prefer to hope and believe that before the season is out - like H&L - it will reach breathtaking levels (I love Otonal too, but there's a fierce wild touch in Origin that I cannot resist even as a work in progress)

Love Origin, too. Superb costume, awesome opening and ending pose, exciting choreo, incredible dynamics and speed, great music cut. He "just" has to put everything together.

I'm pretty optimistic that he can do a "perfect" performance. He changed 5 of 7 jumping passes in these four weeks plus various adaptions in the choreo and nailed them. With better stamina everything's possible ;)
