Alina Zagitova

I will maybe look silly know  but ..can anyone tell me what this 'gesture' means? Or it does not have any meaning? I really dont know  (But I'm able to do it!!)

Phantom of the opera has half of his face covered with mask and they are trying to depict this. This was also a gesture Daniil used in his Instagram post in which he announced that Alina will have POTO for the short

Ooh Thank you so much! That's cool, why I did not think so ... I know he use it, but now It finally make sense.:luv17:

Eteri, Daniil and Sergei during the POTO

Eteri Georgievna is not made from steel , 9:25 :(

Thank you so much, EdRoz! :thank: We can always count on you for the best discoveries

This video speaks a lot about Eteri's character and personality...Maybe she seems an iron lady, and she really is such a strong woman, but she also gives her entire soul for her athletes and for FS in general. She is tough, and empowers everyone around her, and the results of her team speak for themselves.

I admire her a lot, for being so composed, dedicated and determined. Also I am sure she has a warm heart, and is very careful with the people around her. I am sorry for everything she went through this week, and I'm glad that Alina's performance made her day a little brighter.

Alina is lucky to have such a great coach, and Eteri is lucky to have such an amazing student. :luv17:

So true and so well said.

Eteri Tutberidze: “Last summer Zagitova ran away from us in skates on the field. We caught and convinced her that we must continue to training "

....If only KK and the rest of the "Save Alina from Eteri" gang had been there with a getaway car.

All talk and no action as usual....
Sad :dbana:

(sarcasm tags are implied) :p

I believe you meant “gushing” :)))

 To be fair, TAT flip flops a lot.

Who is "sergio r" in the picture with her????

Also - someone asked if she is going to skate in the gala. That would be nice to see.

Sergei Rozanov. He coaches the 3A and some younger girls in Team Tutberidze. I've seen him going to competition with them.
I don't know if he works as much with Alina though.

It is amazing to see a coach cries for the performance of her student. Her tears reflects her satisfactory on Alina's performance. Her body movement synchronized with Alina as movement, I felt she was fully indulged into Alina's program and dreaming herself being inside the rink. That totally changed my impression on her.

On the other hand, another student of Elizabet was treated totally different. While she did the prep talk before her performance, I am not sure why she didn't greet her after her disappointing performance. May be she is not her main coach.

Good luck to Alina today! Can‘t wait to see Carmengitova again. Yesterday was such a treat, to see them all so happy in the K&C was wonderful. Hoping and believing it continues this way. You can and will do it, Alina! :)
