I love both of them! Johnny has indeed taken the more masculine approach and i love it! Although i love his expressive and flambouyant skating from the past i much prefer this style of skating coming from him! Evan though, was really into the performance! There was greater speed and energy and that somewhat spelled the difference in my opinion!

Wow, wow, wow. They are really exciting to watch, definitely the one pair to watch in the future. They have avoided the weaknessness of most American pairs. Have strong throws, huge twist that can match Chinese. Excellent speed and flow.

The only piece missing is sbs triples.

OMG, this is SUPERB! Evan is SO WELL deserved for his title, GREAT GREAT JOB!

if he duplicates that kind of skate at worlds it's silver or gold for him no doubt about it...(depending on, maybe how brian skates...if it's nearly perfect). wow, his twists are just amazing... they look so fast and tight. no muscling of the jumps at all. he has great technique and run out of most of his jumps too...

he must be in unbelievable shape right now! hope he can bring that to worlds this year... don't count evan out of the gold medal hunt yet. who knows what can happen.

i agree. it's the skate of a champion. can't get much harder tech.-wise. all the jump stuff was there... 4/3, 3 axel, 3axel/3toe, 3/2/2, and 3 more triples plus another double axel. despite all that hard jumping, he managed to keep his spins pretty fast and centered...very good form too! it's soooo amazing...
