From the twitter account of "Skating Scores"

Thus far this season, Alina has all level 4's in spins and step sequences.

That's is truly amazing. I have to say that's the Tutberidze Team working it's magic right there. I've heard it from one of the announcers over Alina's FS (the Eurosport duo - a man and a woman - British Eurosport I think, I'm bad with names) where the man commented "level 4 step sequence" or something like it, and the woman answered "that's her team, they don't loose out on levels easily".

They really train their skaters well, and Alina is a specially gifted skater in this particular area, where the skaters do the choreo, spins and steps just as they were planned, intricate move, by impossibly difficult transition, day in and day out with perfect consistency and breathtaking execution. Alina is amazing in handling this outstanding level of difficulty and keeping it consistent and perfectly executed time and time again.

This season several skaters, top skaters, wonderful skaters, are losing levels left and right and Alina is like a giant steady ship in the middle of a storm. She comes through every single time.

Yes the stuff is busy and they have a ton of little moves, not one single second is left for "winging it", or for taking longer to hold a pose, she has stuff to do all the time and she does it. Beautifully. I think this is what gives her great PCS, her ability to do all that and do it over and over again on the same beat. For me this is a big reputation builder. Either way it is a hell of an impressive feat to watch. There are other ways to build a reputation, as other skaters have shown us, with projection and lingering beautiful moves, but this second road takes time, a skater needs to mature into it a bit (even those with great natural abilities for this particular task).

By now I think it's pretty much a consensus that Alina has the great abilities needed to build into a skater with beautiful moves (in both suave performances and strong charged ones), but I can see the wisdom behind the way her team chooses to develop (and package her), it showcases a lot her technical mastery of skating, outstanding body control as well as her formidable stamina. I'm sure she'll be able to, in the future, show us all the rest in its full glory, just as we've already seen on the wonderful performances she turns out on ice shows.

Where can I see it?

Better late than ever, right? So here it is, I clipped the show and uploaded the curling bit to a Google Drive so you can see it in its full glory

1) It's long because I left the whole segment, it starts as Alina sees "Fake Hanyu" so that scene alone is worth watching for.

2) Then we are on to the "Human Curling" competition, where the skaters were divided into teams where one skater would be the curling player and the other would be the curling stone (I think that's what that giant "The Jetsons kettle" looking thing you hurl is called).

3) Alina and Wakaba make up the first team, Alina is the stone, and you can see as she goes kicking her skates to gain speed that she has no idea of the actual objetives of curling. Just watch her happy triumphant face as she zips by across the whole bulls eye and proudly looks at the others with the most endearing face of "I won it".

Hummm, just realized I won't be able to watch the Sambo 70 party live, I can't believe it!!

Was counting on being on a computer but I'm away from home on a long trip and life says "nope" (to top it off I now have to be somewhere around the time that it starts).

I'll see if I can use the link EdRoz so generously posted to watch it on my phone, but just in case I can't I'd like to say "davai Alina!!!!". My heart will be with you, wishing you an amazing Survivor performance, knock it out of the park. I hope someone saves it and uploads it so I can watch it later and marvel at it's awesomeness all over again (like I do every single time I watch Alina skate).

Also "davai" to all the Sambo 70 skaters, hope I get to see your performances later too.

To all that are watching (live or online): have a great time!!! I'm sure that you will.

Before even watching it again, I can still picture her facial expressions in my mind.

Has Alina ever competed in North America before? That will be a long trip for her to go from Moscow to Vancouver for the Grand Prix final. And she will be in the land (sort of anyway) of Zhenya. ;) I believe she is ready and up for it. It will be fascinating to see it all unfold.

Alina has been 3Lz-3Lo like crazy! :agree: (Edit: All clean as far as I could see.)

The cameras mainly followed Alina for the last five minutes  I love how the cameras can always read my mind and show me the quality content I came to see
