It really sounds unlikely RusFed would submit a 'comeback' and drop a GP finalist. Let's see what the other ladies show at Golden Spin!
 
Why would Liza retire now? I remember reading one of her tweets in which someone said something like she was done and she answered it saying she just got started or something... Doesnt sound to me like she wants to quit....

Yes, she has said things like that several times.
 
I'm personally not convinced Liza will retire.
The way she talks about it, it sounds like she will keep skating at least for another season. It does not sounds like she is done.

Haha I am a crazy person and will wake up for Junior Ladies at 2.40am after that go to sleep, wake up at 6 am for Senior Ladies and then have to get ready for the day haha I just cannot not watch the Juniors Live. I will need coffee tomorrow morning to survive the day

I stayed up for nearly 48 hours to watch Yulia at the 2014 WC. I’m afraid to reread those threads in the archive because I became rather loopy and probably began riffling off more nonsense than I usually do :laugh:

The struggle is real!

Oh, wow, that must be a new record. :eeking: What does this tell us? Either you‘re a great fan or simply crazy. Maybe a bit of both? :laugh:

Normally I‘d wake up for juniors, too (who needs sleep anyway? :biggrin: ) but I have a very important exam tomorrow and I kinda cannot afford it to be completely deprived of sleep. But I‘ll get up for the seniors since it‘s at 6 a.m which is totally doable and only one hour earlier than I usually would have to get up. Really excited and rooting for everyone. Normally I have favourites for whom I specially root but I just love all the seniors... Hm, maybe Alina. She deserves this win. (Everyone deserves it but what Alina has to go through at the moment is particularly tough so I‘m hoping for her to get this satisfaction)

In that case I'd guess that next year's GP (since how this came up) would be Alina, Zhenya, Liza, Sasha, Anna, Alena, Sofia, Anna Tarusina, and Stanislava at this point
