Hi, does anyone have an update on Alina's injury? I hope it is nothing serious. Alina is a fighter and a great champion! I think she could have won if she hadn't been injured.

The interviewer is very nice and respectful in this interview (Olga Ermolina, judging by the voice)
She said (the interviewer) - despite your mistake your skate was remarkable, you skated like never before and looked confident.
To that Alina said that she is not too happy with her performance and that she still can't pull off the free skate. And it is her goal - to skate clean. She felt tense but happy that she managed to finish the rest of the programme clean.

She of course always aspires for gold, but she understands that it is impossible to win all the time.

Alina is made of Gold so all she touches turns to Gold on the spot. She did good and should be proud. We are proud.

I had the thought that this silver might alleviate some of the pressure she is being put under to be perfect (and also putting on herself to be perfect). This is a long road still ahead. We are here for the journey.
 
You know what amazing is japanese fans has two flags on there laps 1 russian flag and 1 japanese flag, she is well loved in japan they're both cheering for Alina & Rika at the same time and the rest of the girls of course, im happy for the both girls, Congrats to Alina.
 
Missed the victory ceremony....just saw the end of the victory lap.

Now to look for a video.

What? Oh no. Hope she is okay and what hurts her goes away fast. the pressure on Alina post olympics is immense. She handles it well. Sorry for her silver. Still so much of the season left for her a lot to look forward to.
