I believe so, she is listed on the program and usually they delist someone quickly (Hanyu at Rostelecom) when there’s an issue preventing performance.

Rehearsals have already passed.

I’m looking forward to seeing our lovely Alina to make sure she is OK.

That means everything is okay! Eteri and Daniil would never let her jump 3-3-3 if the injury was serious. Relieving to see. :pray:

I‘m excited to see the hair band today in the ex. I‘m always counting the seconds she has left to tie her hair, wondering whether she can make it in time. It feels like hair band and zipper are Alina‘s greatest challenges. :laugh:

Eteri?!!! Funnily enough that was the first question which came to my mind :) They have the whole gang of mischievous people (Dudakov?!!), so it could be anyone! :)

Someone on skates (you can kind of hear the skates scraping) so I would rule out Eteri and Dudakov who wouldn't be on skates there during Gala rehearsal.

Could be Alena K., who is also performing at the Gala EX or one of the other skaters (like Liza, Sofia....).
 
In other news, a certain former ice dancer is no longer giving interviews about Alina, or any other lady! :yahoo:

I like S/B and I hoped they would podium at GPF :( but the silver lining is that their placement is distracting Bestemianova :biggrin:. I think she is madder about their scores than she was about Alina's.

Thankfully something else for the Beast (:laugh2:) to chew on, let Alina have her fun at the Gala and at the banquet with her much earned Silver Medal.

Side note: S/B are my favorites to watch this season (along with P/C, G/Tiff also for their personalities and fun) they really sizzle on the ice, I think they could've gotten higher scores too.
 
In how many hours ex will start? I would like to watch the whole show with my daughter. Hopefully some great soul post a link.

I saw a Broadcast saying it would start the stream in 30 min or so, but it is going on at 5pm Vancouver time so now I'm confused.

Now she can also say that she has the best illusion spins in the business. She truly does have them, like I could watch her do 1 min Illusion spins and die happy (she on the other hand would have trouble getting out of the rink after spinning like that for 1 min).

Yes! It is hard to appreciate Alina's illusions fully until I saw other skaters doing them :p

Alina's spins in general are so superior, though I really like Anna S' half Biellmann and Kamila V's flying camel too :laugh:
