I'm so happy for Liza!!! I missed watching live and then I couldn't help looking up the results.
Then I watched the program, she had the crowd in the palm of her hand! Love her sass so much! All hail, the Empress!
She also got the highest TES of the Russians as it should be. What a star! :luv17:

Good job, Liza! You were hitting the musical notes perfectly in your FS. I think that's the best artistic performance of it that I've seen yet. I knew you could do it; I knew you could medal!

It was like she was on Cloud 9 throughout her skate and the audience responded so well. Glad that the new layout is working for her, nailing that 3F and 2A+3T+2T like she was doing them all season long. Good luck at Nationals.

Judge number 9 clearly needs to get some glasses. (Seriously, is that judge for real? I could see 6.75 for transitions, but for Interpretation? What the Heck were they looking at?!)

she is on the right track maybe even russian champion, euros champ and even worlds podium ?
I would be happy for Liza but I doubt she‘ll win either Russian Championships or Euros. She isn‘t the feds favourite and she never gets high PCS. Alina will win both if she doesn‘t bomb completely which I doubt she will.
But that doesn‘t take anything away from Liza who is simply amazing already by making the GPF and getting a medal there after years where everyone thought her to be done. She has a great season so far and I hope it will continue this way!

I agree and with some more deserving GOE on Liza's jumps, especially her textbook 3Lz's, she could have very well gotten the silver. However, it's a good sign that she got a PB on the free skate and she has been getting PB's throughout the season. So she has the momentum and can possibly close the gap by Euros and Worlds, especially if she adds a 3F to her SP.
To be fair, personal bests aren't hard to set this year as all previous records have been wiped. Think of them as season's bests.

True. But even if we look at her scores relative to her historical personal best, which were all set in 2015, SP: 77.62, FS: 141.38, Total: 210.40, she still beat that total at NHK and her historical PB in the free at GPF.
