I'm so happy for Alina right now!
Go Alina!
I think she should be very proud of herself for her wonderful performance.
Here is a lovely picture of her with Sasha and Alena. For once Alina is the tallest

This podium makes me teary. :sad21: It's like a dream podium for me, with the most meritorious ladies on top. (ofc Anna being very close to this podium). And I think we'll see a similar podium after the FS, because they just are...unique, talented and hard-working girls.

I am looking forward to Daniil's selfie after the medal ceremony![]()

I'm also thrilled that Alina's mother is getting the chance to see her daughter skate live!
Is she? That's lovely!!

Is it too early to say that no one will beat Eteri girls
will the Russian Federation and the Russian judges want all 3 medalist from Eteri? I guess it won't matter because only Alina will be going to Europeans and worlds because Sasha and Alina or Anna will not this year. The deptn is just unbelievable of the Russian ladies and it's only the tip of the iceberg think how it's going to be in a year or two.
Yes she helped bring Alina's new big plushie home![]()
A nice translation from a post by teamzagitova
- You always said that the most important thing for you is to skip programs cleanly, and places are not important. Something has changed?
- Not. I recently became the second at the Grand Prix stage. For me, this was not a disappointment. You have to rejoice at any place, because at the following starts you can not even become the second. You should appreciate the fact that you are standing on a pedestal at such a big start.
- You are one of the few Olympic champions who continue their careers. Do you feel that in this respect you are rewriting the history of women's skating?
- I do not know. I just didn’t have that much competition in my career. There is no feeling that I am tired of riding. I want to strive further. It's so interesting to go through the competition.

Reading this part made me so happy. She really understands that even placing on the podium is an achievement and I remember what she said in GPF, that she can't just come out with quads and 3A the next day and can only try her best to be clean and get better gradually. That takes so much maturity to accept!
Yea it really doesn't metter. But truth is, that they almost dominate.. But I don't know. I dont wanna speak there about other ladies, but when I see her with them, I really apreciate how much she've grown and mature. She is very beautiful young lady. She is 16 but doesnt look like a child anymore, not visualy, not by skating. (What's more, she is like no one, she has unusual face, she is interesting.) All aspect of her skating are better and better, and it's not so long she was as small as 3A. Especially I admire her bigger flexibility, with age it's usually harder, but she improve there.
It's not a long time ago since she join Eteri's group, desn't have all triples, broken leg and arm and start again. Today her pic with Alena and Sasha really made me think about that.
