Do you know if Alina was awarded with a small medal for the short program in Milan last year ? She bombed her free but was second in the short. I was wondering if the contestants still win a small medal even if they don’t make the podium.

This is my first post on GS as I just recently got an account, I would just like to say that I am a fairly new skating fan and an Alina fan. I remember watching her skate last season and being really impressed, especially with her 3lz+3lo(+3lo+3lo+3lo) combo and it didn't take me long to become a fan. I wish her the best at Euros and during the rest of the season and beyond.

Worlds has small medals for short and free, so I think she did.
