Alina Zagitova

There is also the 100 thousand complaints about Team Zagitova. :dev2:
Some group of disgruntled 'fans' spent a lot of money and time sending 100 thousand complaints about the most popular Alina fan page on IG.

That had to be a 'bot'. I agree that some disgruntled 'fan' (because they do not deserve the word fan) created that bot.

I am not arguing AT ALL that Instagram isn't taking down fan accounts for whatever reasons have already been stated. But 100,000 complaints against a fan page with less than 40,000 followers? That has nothing to do with IG. It's hard for me to believe it's all just completely random since it coincided with two other fan pages getting hit.

If someone just wanted to create large reaction go after a Beyonce fan account. (If you dare, the Beyhive will hunt you down!) Or a Kardashian fan account. Or a K-pop group!

I guess we won't know for sure until IG gives the admins of the pages an explanation and they choose to share that with us.

As was being said already, this was an attack by fake accounts who complain about all fan pages.

And this problem is NOT only restricted to figure skating, many other pages are being taken down, too. As well as other fan accounts of figure skaters from different fan bases.

Unfortunately Alina‘s pages are affected as well and I hope they will be fully restored. Teamzagitova was one of my favorites and it‘s sad to see all the content gone. But Alina is certainly not the only one affected, these are fan accounts automatically created to send thousands of complaints about all fan pages. It‘s obviously a shame that Alina’s accounts are being taken down, too but this problem is wider than this, not restricted to her and not done by a certain group of fans because multiple figure skating fan pages of many different skaters were banned.

Of course everyone is entitled to have their own opinion but I think it would be better not to jump at fan groups immediately (regardless which fan group is being meant) and accuse them of something they possibly have nothing to do with and, on the contrary, are affected negatively as well.

I will, however, after explaining this, leave because I fear it will end up too heated of a discussion and I have no intention of engaging in something like that.

After all the really horrible back and forth between internet 'fanbases' of all kinds over the years it is very easy to believe that this is just one more incidence of that. But I am more than happy to be persuaded otherwise by your explanation. I'd much rather believe what you believe than the alternative. Especially since there is no way to know with absolute certainty until teamzagitova or the other two pages get an official explanation from IG and choose to share it. Hopefully, they will. :)

Good God you have to be kidding. Sad. Ridiculous.

The account @teamzagitova received more than 100 thousand complaints, and was blocked by Instagram, someone has spent money and time

It's definitely a well-planned and well-coordinated attack. I remember when many people from another country other than Russia for writing terrible things on the Instagram account of Adelina Sotnikova for years after she won the gold medal in 2014. These people are still out there harassing Adelina online on Instagram on Twitter on YouTube it never ends. It's a well-coordinated effort but what's happening to the Alina Zagitova Instagram pages are a little more mysterious and confusing. Why? I come from the old school if you don't like someone or a TV show you don't watch it see move along with your life but that's not happening here and it's a shame.

Let's talk about how beautiful and delicate and angelic Alina in the new Madoca's ad is.
And Zhenya is great too! This video is made my day.

Alina had some problems with her ChoSeq in the last two competitions. Do you think she will go back to her prior to GPF ChoSeq. I was of the ones that wanted her to make it more difficult, but something looked like was bothering her last time.

Her fun spiral, from EX is nice, but I guess it doesn't match music wise to include it in the program.

For me , all elements in EX , including fun spiral , is match to the music and Alinka very well ..

I meant to include the fun spiral in Carmen program as a ChoSeq not that it doesn't much the Lara Croft program. It matches perfectly there. I just thought it might have more impact if she does it in Carmen, just not sure if matches with Carmen music.

This commercial was such a gift to fans of both skaters. I love that Twitter is losing its mind (in the best possible way!) over this video. :)

I hope in the years to come when their competition days are over we can look forward to many wonderful performances of the two of them skating together in ice shows. They are both magic.

Not a big fan of japanese anime, my niece showed me this link.https://youtu.be/N4K8b87jEHI

The movie is kiki delivery service. I kinda like the music and the character. I think it fit perfectly to Alina....Plus there is a cat character in the movie too...Just give her a bloom and she will fly on it.
