That year, our family planned a trip to Japan which was scheduled to be just a couple of days after the earthquake. Had our trip been a few days earlier, we would have been part of it too...

The name itself suits him perfectly :laugh: I will buy it 100% even though I use cheaper skin care product daily. I wonder if there will be special items near future. If you will come to Japan for WC, you can find 雪肌精 easily at drugstores etc :) I haven't watched his interview yet but I heard the official release of CM would be tomorrow, so I'll wait!

And I always remember this photo when I hear "KOSE" :biggrin: (KOSE has been one of the sponsors for figure skating competitions in Japan).

I hope there is a special Yuzu edition in the future :biggrin: I recalled there were like Cinderella special edition, Sakura special editions in the past... I can imagine feathers and skating boots patterns on the bottles for Yuzu version :laugh:

I got around to watching the interview, and it was all about figure skating and nothing about the product :rofl: Same with the ad itself...its a compilation of Yuzu's best skating moments this season with the brand name inserted. I wish we had a separately filmed commercial instead. But at the same time, as Yude mentioned, the product name means snow skin pixie, and there is nothing more like a snow pixie than Yuzu in Otonal:luv17:, such it would be counter-intuitive to show him in anything else. I wondered if Yuzu accepted this commercial (out of the countless offers made) because Kose promised it will focus on skating and not silly costumes doing silly moves haha.

Oh that sounds very nice!! KOSE, pleaassee!!

I finally watched his interview and it was so Yuzuru :) He said he was not good at acting with speaking the lines as actors did, so he was glad that KOSE showed his actual figure skating performances in CM because that was what he was the best at. (but I think he really did great job in the movie :biggrin:)

Just curious about this because I can't tell (as someone who doesn't know Japanese), what are the products in his new line?
 
I am so happy. Worlds is almost here. He does not skate until Thursday but there will be arrival! and then practice videos :luv17:! In the ever-shortening meantime I offer this lovely fan compilation video of Yuzu practicing before Olympics, set to Muse. I apologize if already posted. For practice videos, I’m under the impression that there won’t be any fantaken ones because it’s not allowed and we will have to wait for tv footages which are much shorter... or am I mistaken? Can fans take videos in Japan?

Appears to be only for limited period till mid April...So covering Worlds to WTT. This might be the closest thing to SNS activity we will get from Yuzu.

I am so happy that my post helped you too, you are very kind. :)

I am so fortunate to have witnessed this exhibition number in person in Helsinki and a million thanks for the uploader. I did not get any footage from his actual programs, only the warm-up, the Poohs and the Kiss&Cry moments.

I've watched the doc from 2016 when he visits Sendai. It is heartbreaking but it is a beautiful testament that he is such and incredible person.

I've also read somewhere that photography will not be allowed at Worlds.

On a shallower note: do these products have sun protection in them?

Official web site doesn't say anything about it, but I think taking videos won't be allowed this time, too. So it will all depend on how Fuji TV report...they sometimes show the practice live from the arena during their broadcast. Other stations borrow the images from Fuji TV so their videos are going to be shorter. And another thing I am curious about the practice is that the official says they don't announce the music (run-through) order, which means what? They don't let us know who are in the groups ? :think: I think that will be hard for the fans in every way :drama:

I guess Yuzuru and KOSE have already prepared what would be on the blog since he must be too busy for doing other stuff in next few weeks, but I may be wrong.

I highly doubt he did too, it is after all a product line for females...I mean the other endorser is Yui Aragaki, one of Japan's most popular actress, she did the famous Koi dance Yuzu was copying in 2016. Not saying men can't use it though xD
