ESPN's Friday Rerun of Ladies at Spokane

I thoroughly enjoyed Sunday's rerun of Spokane Ladies, especially the short programs, which I had missed on the original telecast. Most of the short performances were wonderful - but for some strange reason, they left out Rachel Flatt's short! They showed people like Megan Oster and Kelly Hughes, and left out Rachel? Unbelievable! They showed a clip of her 3-3 after Alissa Czisny's short, but that was it. They even announced earlier that Rachel's short was something the viewer should look forward to - and left it out!

The result is that I have no recording of Rachel's short program at all.

We think it was selective editing on the part of ABC/ESPN. I think they had had enough of the juding controversy/tech panel issues and did not want to revisit it, other than a brief mention and the quick replay. Unfortunately, with the exclusion of Rachael's SP, we all missed out, as she skated beautifully. (She was included in the coverage of the LP.) Could ESPN have dropped some of the commercials and shown a few more skaters????

Does anyone have any ideas as to what type of TV coverage we should expect in the future with the end of the ABC contract this year?
