Alina's father is an ice hockey trainer, no doubt Alina herself knows some tricks with the stick and the puck as I can not imagine she and her father have never sparred together when Alina was still living at home.

There were some little video clips of Alina a few months earlier, where she was balancing a puck on her hockey stick.

In the Ice Age, Kids show on Russian TV, one of the young girl skaters also has a brother that is in ice hockey. She told the interviewer she can hold her part in a skating skills competition with her brother, but her brother is trained differently in mastering the puck and driving it forwards.
Would love to see a few clips with a young Alina having fun sparring with her father on the ice hockey rink. But who knows what fun skills Alina will show in the Canada event with the hockey skaters being decorated?
And what effect Alina will have on the visually impaired girl finally being able to meet her idol in person? It sure is going to be both emotional and magical for both of them.

Yeah, that’s what i hate, people were/are always so impressed with their achievements and don’t count their “not best” performances as fails coz “for 16yo it’s still great” but treat Alina like everything she did/does is expected and she isn’t allowed to make any mistakes since she is an Olympic champ...but she is literally another 16 yo girl.
