Today‘s May 1st, so we should get an Alina SP reveal from Daniil, right? Given that we‘ve already found out about Sasha‘s choice, I think it‘s more than likely that the whole team is already working on the programs. I‘m hoping for something modern for Alina. Let‘s see what it will be.

As for Sasha, I like the Game of Thrones music, even though I‘m probably one of the few who hasn‘t watched a single episode yet. I would not immediately have associated this music with Sasha but maybe it will help her grow artistically. Now I‘m waiting to find out about the choices of Alena and Anna. Given that we already know Sasha and will likely find out Alina‘s today... I‘m hoping we‘ll get to know them soon, too.

But the song she choose is not the song the night king from last episode wasn't it said she would skate to a song called pray? As daenerys taegeryen? , it isnot even a song by ramin,.andit doesn't make sense to take the night kings soundtrack when she portrays dany. If she wants to portray dany then why not use danys songs?

I know which songs you meant, pray (high valyrian) and the song the night king from last episode, , I listened to both, I personally don't like the first song at all cause for me it doesn't really connect to game of thrones, the last song, is an amazing masterpiece of music, but this song doesn't have anything to do with daenerys, danerys has so many sing themes of her own, and all of them are amazing. Mabye Sasha will surprise us but for me she doesn't fit into the role of daenerys nor is the music a fit for what we have seen of her so far.this time she will have to tell a story with the music because that's what the music does in this show, and I dont k ow if she really can do it. But I am willingly to watch her try and mabye surprise me. .And I have to correct my first statement apparently she will skate to both songs so the night king is written by ramin.

Gulyakova has landed 3A before in practice, I believe, so her and maybe Tarakanova if she sorts out her coaching troubles? She gets great height on almost all her jumps. She would need to rotate a lot more quickly for a quad, though. But maybe 3A could be possible... Sofia Samodurova and Anna Tarusina are supposedly training quads and 3A as well but their jumps are so small that I can‘t imagine them to get another rotation anywhere. Maybe Sofia 3A since she trains with Mishin and Liza... but to be honest, I don‘t really see it.

Zhenya wants to start training 4S this season, as of her interviews, so that she can land it without fall or UR. She said things like that take time so probably she won‘t include it in her programs this season, especially since she is/was injured lately. I don‘t know whether it will happen and I‘m quite hesitant about quads anyway but if Zhenya wants something, she should definitely never be underestimated...

Now Maria sometimes takes her students to her home for 5 days and helps them to lose weight. She proves them that they can lose weight (they say about not eat at home and gain weight)

I just realised that Sasha's FP likely isn't only going to contain the two songs she mentioned, if this previous season is any indicator of what's to come. This season her FP was listed as the Fifth Element soundtrack, but more than half of it was from another movie by the same composer as her SP.

If the fan account translation I saw on Instagram wasn't wrong, Sasha said that the *main* songs from her FP are Pray and The Night King, so there could easily be more.

I think it could be like this past season, where her FP is listed as The Fifth Element Soundtrack, but she has four songs in her FP and only two of them are from the Fifth Element, while the other two are from another movie called Electric Samurai.

The whole first half of the program where she lands her first four jumps and then the flying combo spin is one song from Electric Samurai. The section where she does her next two jumps and then another spin is from The Fifth Element, and then there's a very short section where she just does one triple flip and that song is from Electric Samurai again. Her program ends with another song from the Fifth Element, which is her third spin and then step sequence.

So really, even if she's only mentioned Pray and The Night King, there could very easily be more iconic GOT songs in there.

I hope she can because otherwise it could be the wrong musci choice. Game of thrones music is such powerful music and she really needs to feel it her, with any game of thrones song. The music is so powerful and makes the scenes so emotional and powerful especially the track the night king,I will not post any scenes cause 1. I do not want to spoiler if there are people in here who watch the show and haven't seen the last episode yet and 2. There is a reason why the show is +16 years old,. But those scenes we see when this music runs are amazing in itself yes but tis the music that makes them beyond amazing and so emotional and powerful. I hope Sasha can learn to listen to it because to this music she needs to play a role even more if she wants to portray daenerys taegeryen. As I said I will hope she surprises me .

I honestly see no issue with the "night king" track.
While it is not a personal Daenerys / Targaryen track, at least based on the show, I see no issue someone portraying Daenerys using this music, it is not entirely disconnected from her character. Deny had quite some action while this track was playing in the episode, even.

Spoilerish:
Something like the part where she fights with Jorah, for instance - I could see the program storyline as something like fight - desperate fight - mourn for allies, which would fit Sasha well even with her current abilities and give her some room to grow too as it would be somewhat more dramatic and emotional than her current programs.

I just don’t understand this criticism of Sasha. People praise Alena to the high heavens (rightfully so) but TBH I can’t think of more than a couple distinctive moments in any of her programs that portray character. She moves to the music very well (maybe even one of the best at it) but I see absolutely no distinctive character from one program to the next...which is totally fine by the way. She’s a musical creature who you could literally switch the music and she could skate the same program to it without a hiccup. She’s that good yes but she doesn’t really have signature movements in her programs that when you see them (in practice) you would know what program it is from based on a charactistic movement.

Sasha on the other hand adds loads of character in her performances.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen 5th element or not but she does an amazing job of recreating Leeloo’s movements and bringing that character to figure skating. During big spender she has sass and spunk and even hams it up a bit. She’s very dynamic compared to many other top level skaters from around the globe. Sure she’s got room to improve but to suggest she doesn’t listen to the music or add character to her programs is just inaccurate IMO. I wouldn’t even say Sasha is deficient in her performance ability and TBH would likely never score Alena more than a point or two higher in PCS when both bring their best. I think that says a lot of good about both skaters actually!

You just said it you could switch out her music she would still skate the same, which for me isn't listening to music or really feeling it, especially next season with game of thrones themed free programm, she has to feel the music and portray daenerys otherwise it will not work, with the game of thrones music its the music that is so emotional and powerful, here she has to tell the story to the music, if she skates and you could still change the music track and you would not see a difference than its wrong in my eyes because the music she choose is not just music which you can replace with any other song no its one of the kind music

Sorry but i dont shareyou opinion on alena, for me its sasha that you can change tracks and she doesnt change the skating performance, alena is the opposite in my eyes, she really connects to the music and you just cannot change tracks , she would skate differently to each track

Well that's my opinion as yours is yours, the thing is she just choose music that is dramatic and which tells a story, . Anyone who k ow game of thrones knows that. As I said I hope she surprises me but at the moment I just can not see her as daenerys nor is the music connecting to her in my thoughts. And I say my thoughts! Not yours or anyone else's.!
