Alina Zagitova

They were quoting opinions from this forum as „reaction from foreigners“ and mentioned several users.
So co-forumers are in the news already :-)

Did they mention me by name? Am I famous in Japan yet? Do I need an agent? A manager to handle my IG account? This is all very exciting!!!

:drama::dance3:

I know.

Autumn Leaves makes this very intriguing post and then just leaves us hanging!!!!

C'mon Autumn Leaves - you gotta let us know who was mentioned.

Pretty please!!!!

Oops, sorry guys. I meant another video, the one from Russian‘s Top News channel about Sabina Instagram conment that she will try to join Eteri‘s group next year.

The forumers quoted are leilaraj, Elana, Happy Skates, Nussnacker, el Henry and Scott512.
The discussion was in the Russian ladies thread (p.81 & 82) Obviously, I keep too many tabs open and somehow managed to confuse them. Apologies for the confusion, but we aren’t Big in Japan just yet :-)

Oh. :( okay.:sad4:

One of Alina's 3Lz from "Show Carmen" was the bit chosen to represent her at the news today. Beauty the high and distance of that jump.

She is ready to fight next season, her shape in the mid season proves so, she was obviously training a lot during vacay, her jumps are still great, she is spinning faster imo. Hope they won’t make same mistake as last year with overtraining in the first half of the season, she needs to pick her battles wisely.

I agree, but I have to give credit where it is due - Alina peaked at Worlds. She skated her best and her body appeared to be in the best shape of the season. It may have been a rough road to get there, but they made it in the end.

But, and this is huge, she has got to be in the best shape possible at Rus Nats in order to earn a spot on the team. If she doesn't get it done there this season Euros and Worlds won't matter.

I have to believe they have a strategy for getting her to peak twice this season. Not an easy thing, but if anyone can do it....

She peaked 3 times last season and needed time off competitions.
They wont do it but she needs to chill with GP events imo, GPF is a week or so before rusnats, it’s too much considering acclimatisation. Anyway, if she is not injured training a quad, she will be on rusnats podium. People are overhyping certain skaters with quads, meanwhile they need to learn a lot about basic skating/spins etc first and they will be distracted by it next season in order to get high pcs in the future which leads to even more technical mistakes than they usually make, it happens with every junior to senior skater.
I’m not gonna watch rusnats this year live tho, no way lol

Edit: I confused the videos and meant this one, from the Russian channel Top news about Sabina possibly going to Eteri next year, not the one I have quoted. Here is the correct link to the video:

Btw, that comment was from the fake account real Sabina has nothing to do with. Real Sabina never commented on going to Eteri. (she never engages in any conversations in comments.)

GPF and RusNats are two weeks apart (GPF is 8-10 Dec, RusNats is 24-29 Dec), and GPF is in Torino, so pretty much no jet lag. I am going to remain hopeful! :)
but not sure I will be able to handle watching it live :)

I didn’t mean jetlag. Acclimatization (still there is one, even if place close to Russia in ur opinion, btw Alina or Daniil has mentioned she had one during worlds18 in Milan) twice in such short amount of time on top with GPF being most important competition of first half of the season where skater gives everything... 2 weeks are not enough to get some rest, so she will be training as usual if not more meaning exhausting her body for a longer time than she should. We’ll see.
