I hope Masha is able to compete this season. It's so sad her father passed away. <3

I am not sure about placing Daria in the first event. As far as I remember she had consistency issues last season. Why didn't they have Kanysheva+Valieva or Kanysheva+Tarusina to almost secure 1+2 with 2 of 3 biggest threats from Japan present there? Of course, if they have the goal to maximize the JGPF presence.

1) they don't know who else is competing when they submit

2) based on last year's results, they probably consider Alysa more of a rival than Araki/Kawabata.

3) If they're following the pattern of last year, at each JGP they tend to have one super strong girl, plus one gamble (I mean all the Russian ladies are super strong but yk what I mean). It wouldn't be smart to put up their strongest ladies together at one JGP; I think its right that they spread it out just like they did last year.

Anyways, Usacheva was getting more consistent as the year went on, and although she would often make one or two mistakes, she didn't usually fall apart. And if Eteri knows anything, its how to make skaters more consistent, especially when preparing them for their international debut.

That's what Yasmin Levy wrote: her song Alina's team picked for the short program. If only other people saw the world the same. You know whom I mean.

"When I was younger, I would have said “wow! I made it! But now when I’m 43, after seeing quite some serious things in my life 😌.. well, I’m just happy and grateful for making her feeling happy and inspired by my creation.. hoping it will touch few more souls around the world.. 🙏🙏 believe me.. I realized that we are all going to die sooner or later ☺️ so just be good and happy and modest."

Also Alina met with Japanese prime minister Abe in his residence. Our humble champion is simply amazing!

What an outdated woman. Doesn't she understand that the number of subscribers in an instagram is the capital that needs to be increased in all possible ways? Give us a scandal! Write that you are shocked that they took your music without asking or something. Then write that you do not blame Alina, but only the choreographer who chooses the music "guys, should not attack the poor girl" etc. Come on Yasmin, be modern!

Usually artists are pleased, sometimes even honoured, when their music is being used in a beautiful performance of a sports star of Alina's signature. It is an ultimate form of recognition for the artist after all when hundreds of millions of people will hear the music.

Could she have declined or demanded a higher copyright fee from FKKM/Sambo-70/Khrustalniy/Zagitova?

I assume the skaters must use legal music in their official ISU competitions? Surprisingly, I couldn't find anything relating to music copyright in ISU rules??

Unlike last year, with 3A, there are currently I do not see absolute favorites in pairs of girls among juniors. Which of them will be superstrong? Over the summer, much could change. I hope that there will be an interesting and unpredictable struggle for reaching the final and in the final of the JGP. Good luck to them all.
I think the main intrigue will be in the confrontation of experienced juniors vs. debutants.

I think it happened only a few times, when last season composer Joe Hisaishi didn't let a skater skate to program set to his music. Yuzuru Hanyu also had to get his permission for Hope & Legacy. But these are the only cases I have heard, so I don't think that Alina or any other girl will have problems.

If i remember correctly this isn't Alina's fan fest.

@Fluture I'm gonna :palmf: with you too.

Is the Levy woman thrilled with Alina skating to her music or not? The reigning defending undisputed world champion and Olympic champion is skating to her music so I hope she's thrilled!
