No, the only Russian skaters are Alina and Mikhail K. Full cast if anyone is interested: Shoma Uno, Nathan Chen, Boyang Jin, Vincent Zhou, Mikhail Kolyada, Romain Ponsart, Tomoki Hiwatashi, Alina Zagitova, Rika Kihira, Kaori Sakamoto, Mai Mihara, Mariah Bell, Marin Honda, Gabriella Papadakis/Guillaume Cizeron, more
 
I can see some very good programs coming there. Well done to the team! Interesting choice for Valieva :biggrin: but I'm still glad they gave her something decent. I should say though that I still find it a little bit awkward to see their typical style on boys, idk why, I just can't really say that I like it.
 
Programs

Zagitova: The feeling begins is what it starts with but none of the other cuts.
Trusova: Starts with Prayer and some Daniil voiceovers
Shcherbakova: couldn't shazam but it sounds to me like parfum soundtrack
Kostornaia: I think it's Bella's lullabye but not certain--would fit with a Twilight program though--just checked again it is New Moon (The Meadow) if the entire program is this theme it could be more lyrical than expected
Valieva: Exogenesis Symphony Part 3
Kanysheva: The earth prelude Einaudi
Usacheva: Je suis Malade Lara Fabian
Akatieva: Le Moulin (From the Amelie Soundtrack)

Interesting to me that Khromyk doesn't feature especially as there are so many of the little boys and its so close to testskates so her programs must be done.

Also will Trusova, Kosto and Shcherbakova keep their programs from last season as they all have only announced one, it's getting quite late for any more announcements and Eteri had Tsurskaya and Zagitova keep their a junior program in seniors. If so then I presume Trusova will keep Kill Bill, Shcherbakova Rondo and Kostornaia Angel.

Anyway, I‘ll write some thoughts when I‘ve watched it with sound. But from seeing it now, there are some promising programs in there. :)

It's her FS, a new cut has been added,because she is skating to New Moon from Twilight OST. But I hope she (and Anna with Alexandra) will get 2 new programs to start their first senior season.

That's part of the song, not something added. It's supposed to be words in High Valyrian (presumably a prayer), hence the name of the song "Pray (High Valyrian)".

I wish I knew what they were saying. If anyone has a summation of it I would appreciate it.

On a side note I've never seen Anastasia so brunette. It of course looks good on her but I remember her from two and three years ago as being much blonder. And I think the lighter color hair helps her stand out more from the top seven or eight Russian ladies all of whom are very brunette as we know. With the competition so tough and the talent so deep Nastya needs every little bit she has to stand out from the rest. Even blonde hair. Unless the Russian Federation doesn't like it of course. ;)

On a more serious note I hope the inflammation in her feet has subsided and she's back to training and really find her form next season whether she's a junior or senior or both as in skating in the Juniors but also skating a couple of Challengers and a couple of senior B's as well. Last year she had the boot issue starting her season which delayed the beginning of her season and now she has this inflammation. It's such a tough sport I respect everyone in it because I couldn't do it.

I have to say, I wouldn‘t mind if the 3A kept one of their programs. I liked Rondo for Anna, even though the dress looked like a little christmas ball. :biggrin: But the gloves were a nice touch, something different. And Angel and Kill Bill were fabulous for Aliona and Sasha, fit them really well. Of course, it would be nice if they got new programs but I wouldn‘t be sad at all if they kept one of their old ones.

What do you mean? This is one of those times I wish I understood Russian so I could figure out what the questions and answers were. But I only speak fluent English and a little French oui oui and Spanish si si. ;)

Well I went to Anastasias Fan Fest and one of the posters there was upset by the interview and what she said. I can only say Nastya is not used to one-on-one interviews for half an hour and being asked questions that lead her into shall we say criticizing some of her competitors. I doubt she even meant to do that. What she needs to learn to do is throw in compliments to her competitors with what she is saying. But in her own mind Nastya is speaking the truth as she sees it not trying to hurt anyone. I think speaking frankly is the Russian way even if it's not politically correct. Nastya he's only 16 and we'll learn from this once she feels the backlash from some people's comments and why the video on YouTube is getting so many thumbs down. I thought the thumbs down what coming from that Rodina girl who is very controversial. But some of the thumbs down maybe coming from what Anastasia said and how she said it. She will learn. It's sure been a difficult season or two for her. Nastya needs to step her game up next season. The pressure is on.

About her being born at the wrong time in 2002 is very true and Alina being born at the right time in 2002 is very true. She should just say that's bad luck but Alina took full advantage of everything and won everything and I admire her for that. Instead I suppose it comes off as she is dismissing Alina. That is a mistake of hers and her parents should explain that to her. Again she's only sixteen and she will learn but sometimes in life you have to learn the hard way.

Coaching matters most because you would never hear an Eteri Georgevina girl say anything that could be construed as negative about another skater. Nastya has had 3 coaches in 3 years or 4 coaches in 4 years I have lost count. Those drastic changes have hurt her development in my opinion. I hope she can settle down and find her best form with her new coach.

I know most of you won't believe it but I was a bit of a dick and a tad annoying when I was 16. :( Things changed once I learned the hard way. That's life.
