Well, considering that this is the story of Adam and Eve, I wonder if Johnny's role is the part of the snake?
Whatever the case, it's a spectacular program. It would be an outrage if ABC chacks it.
Horrible resolution and all. Looking forward to that being aired.:agree:

I can't watch because of dumb ol slow dial up... but I hope to see it soon!

very good, except johhny didn't seem to relate to denis and melissa at all. I think that he could have skated with her a few times.... i dunno. somthing with more conecting.

I was a little underwhelmed but maybe it's better in person when you can get a better sense of all three skaters at once. But it's kind of odd to take a very successful number for a couple and add an unnecessary third.
Still, it's always lovely to see Johnny flowing.

I agree! Perhaps lack of preparation time was the factor. They put together this program in a hurry. Anyway, it was still very good.
I guess it's an "individual interpretation" type of program. My vision was that of Johnny's angel being the "fallen" angel who brings down the other two. The fact that he seems to lead in the moves and have them follow, so to speak, would suggest this. The theme title, Fallen Angels, seems appropriate as such. But, as I said, it's the personal meaning that each of us applies to the performance. At any rate, it was different and lovely. I hope to see more of these innovative structures in skating.

Wow. I knew that they were portraying fallen angels, but I didn't think of that at all- with Johnny as the leader. Makes sense to me-when they begin the straightline footwork Johnny leads and then waits for Melissa and Denis to follow, and then they skate together. Love that interpretation.

ITA with you. Having heard so much much about this, in my mind, I had been imagining something more physical between the three of them. I'm sure it must have been great to those who where able to see it live.

I think my favorite part of the program was the end portion. The way Johnny stands above Melissa and Denis is beautiful for the program. He led them and then what they do leads to their downfall.
