Mikhail Kolyada

This is a purely personal take on Misha, but it feels like he's maturing a bit, changing his mind on some stuff--wasn't he always pretty negative about doing shows, not interested, not that he was against them. Now he's doing shows, he's married, he looks happy lately. I hope that can translates into his skating on the ice, because this might be some of the last seasons we're going to see him compete, and I would love to see him getting those titles he deserves.

True, Misha didn't seem to keen on doing shows in the past, I remember him saying that even last year I believe. But now he was really excited that he got invited to the shows in Japan (as all the skaters he enjoys Japan a lot). It is also a kind of recognition of his abilities. His coach was happy, too. So getting to skate in this prestigious show hopefully will be another confidence booster. It is a great opportunity to get "warmed up" before the season, skate in front of an audience and test the programs. Judging from photos I saw Misha indeed skates the Charlie Chaplin program. Maybe there'll be some videos, too. Also, he'll be happy to train with Nathan and the others.

When are we getting some videos of his programs? :drama:

He looks having a great time with the cast, even when he doesn't seems to be so "free" in showing it like the other boys (maybe his age is playing a role here ). I hope this tour will help him relax more in front of the audience.

I thought that some video would leak by now but alas the Japanese seem to follow the rules religiously. Will the videos be available after the show aired on TV?

Meanwhile his Chaplin music is on his VK:

Some kind fans will probably upload it, but I suggest you save it as soon as it appears, they have a habit of disappearing...

Thank you :agree:
Isn't the music cut too short to be whole his FS?

Yes, it does seem so. Curious whether he actually performed his FS program or chose to perform the exhibition version (haven’t compared the music). Or possibly a combination of the two?

From Vincent Zhou thread with many thanks:

- Mika and co. at a restaurant: https://www.instagram.com/p/B0p4LpoJEoW/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet

You're welcome! Glad to see you reposted the group photos here from Vincent's FF. That second photo may have been from the Northern Culture Museum instead of the restaurant, as mentioned in this tweet and Misato's IG.

Here is another group photo of the cast posing for JP TV Guide Kiss & Cry, wearing their own hand designed T-shirts:

I would be happy to copy over any group photo links from Vincent's FF should I come across any new ones. You should follow this Twitter account @sunlight_girl as she is a big fan of Kolyada. Her Twitter feed has lots of pics and video clips. She even pointed out that the person in Vincent's recent IGS is Mikhail, which I hadn't even realized.

Misha was shown in this black & white practice clip, doing a beautiful jump, taken from Romain's IGS:

Also, Tim has a group picture of some of the skaters posing, with Misha making a face in the background:

It doesn't look like this was posted here, only the ones where the boys wearing the shiny tops were leaping

Edit: Just follow @sunlight_girl, she's already tweeted everything, lol, including latest group photo of boys from Misha's own IGS.

You're so welcome! That was a very clever "From Russia with Love" design. ;) And Misha has the best smiles!
Came across this IG account @mikinmyheart, which seems to have a few more pics & clips. Do check it out if you haven't seen it.

Awwww, thank you for the tip! :hap93:
