Well if she can lip sync stuff, then she probably understands it, which means she can speak some words, so not entirely fake news ;)
 
Here are some unfounded rumors, originated from one source at sports.ru, who presumably have some access to Chrustalniy via connections with some athletes parents. She posted them yesterday. There aren't any proofs or other sources whether all of that is true or not - so take it as you will (apparently with HUGE heap of salt):

Here is my info. Kostornaya have 3As. Sasha have two quad combinations. Alina have a quad. Anna have another quad but it's unstable yet. It seems Sasha have some steps between quads too.

Judging by her other comments Alina's quad is 4Lz and in a better shape than it was before with 4F harness attempts. They postponed quads training then due to problems with her legs at the time - and now they start it over again. Alena jumps 3A without harness already. Also she claims that Alina jumps 4Lz in Japan now without harness to boot and reports about it to Dudakov via phone - and that talk was presumably overheared. It sounds very.. fishy. It's still possible though that part of these rumors is true. Anyway it triggered quite a discussion in Russian community already.

P.S.: also she said they don't want to advertise it yet due to toxic community and not perfect form in which these jumps are (so there is possibility that they won't include them in programs) - to not disappoint their fans too.

I wouldn't have believed the Alina quad lutz thing, but her 3lutz in Japan was so darn high and good that I just might believe it. And wouldn't that be amazing news! I hope the Alena 3A thing is real too. But sad that there is no news on a Sasha 3A, probably means she doesn't have it (if these rumors are at all true).

All this sounds kind of sketchy, especially the phone call bit. It sounds like way too much of a coincidence. What's more, there's no reason for Sasha to be putting two quad combos in her FP because you can't repeat two of the same quad anymore. If she's doing two -3T combos then that's just a waste of the Zayak rule. Unless maybe she wants to land a quad-3Lo combo, which would make more sense, but in that case I think it would have been mentioned that she has been training it because that's a pretty big deal.

I don't know, I kind of want to believe that Alyona has a 3A and Alina has a 4Lz, but this whole thing sounds so sketchy and I don't want to get my hopes up. :slink:
 
I'm not sure why Sasha would have two quad combos, since she can only repeat one quad. Seems an unnecessary risk to me. Keep the -loop and -sal combos in the second half.

The only explanation I can think of is maybe she is practicing this way to make just one quad combo easier, and we know that Eteri girls do this often. Although, are we sure they meant two quad-combos as opposed to two-quad combos? :laugh: probably the former, but Sasha can never fail to surprise me.

You know, that didn't even dawn on me!!! LOL! I could totally see her attempting 4t-4t!!! Too funny!
 
it’s hard to believe because
Alyona didnt even jumped single 2a when she was at Japan Ice show.
and she’s now doing 3a hmm

also it’s very curious Alina was at Japan and she might simply used Russian
and there were ppl understand her conversations.
