Yes, Sean we were but Iam also happy she's gone they milked th leg thing as long as they could. What's keeping John in there is all the blue-hairs :rofl:
for someone his age and who doesn't dance he's not that bad to watch, he seems to be having a good time doing the best he can.
Now that they have chosen a winner for the new Pussy Cat Dolls I'll be watching the whole thing on Tuesdays. :laugh:
 
John is hanging in there because he's just having fun with it.

I think the judges are being unfairly harsh to Ian. Yeah, he's not a huge personality, but really, technically, there is not a whole lot wrong with his dancing.

Leila: while I really think I'd beat the crap out of Maks, they were back on form Monday. Definitely the second-best couple out there.

Joey: Don't remember much, honestly.

Billy Ray: Next to go, I think. He's maxed out what potential he had.

Heather: Go home, and take the musicians with you.

Apolo: Just quit speed skating now and compete Open Gold pro-am with Julianne.
 
I look at these TV contests in the best interests of the sponsors and the Network. Women don't win these contests. The viewing public is mostly women. It's the testosterone in the Latin Dances that win.

Mark me, the contest will narrow down to Apollo and Joey, despite the fact that I think Ian is the best of the lot. (and it was not a good lot throughout)

Ian's hit a plateau, and Apolo zoomed right past him on the outside track....
Agree with Seanibu that seeing the Fat One go would be sad, simply because we'd have to say good bye to Her Loveliness :love: :love: :love: from Aussie as well.
Pure popularity is the only reason why John and Billy Ray are still there, I still think Laila is 'meant' to win as per script.......
I might have to figure out how to become a celebrity, on the condition they let me dance with Julianne...:love: :love: :love:
 
Ian is good. Apolo is, flatly, the best of all of them. He's excelled at Standard and he has almost caught up with his Latin (those samba rolls, my lord...) He and Julianne could easily enter...probably Men's Silver group A pro-am right now and do extremely well for themselves. (Of course they couldn't use the chair or any props, but still.) He very much deserves to win. Leila is good as well, but I can't quite put her up there with him, as she's been more inconsistent. (Part of that is Maks's fault, but still.) Joey is a great entertainer but he's just not quite as technically proficient as Apolo or Leila. Ian, if he could just bring it a little more and perform, would be second-best. He has great lines, but he's a bit tight in the upper body and just seems to be holding back. Once you see male pros dance in person, you realize just how much that showmanship really matters.

I think Billy Ray will go next, and John's sheer exhuberance will carry him through one more week. Possibly two, if the audience is as bored with Ian ("You could have a second career here" "He had a first career?") as the judges seem to be.

Obviously, by having six male contestants and five female, they're skewing toward a female viewing audience. But I think Laila Ali has a decent chance to win. She's a real woman with meat on her bones that other women can relate to. Not too many women I know relate to Stacy Keibler.
 
Leila Ali will be in the last trio to stand along with Joey and Apollo. She goes home that week and, cliff hanger will be Joey and Apollo. Not sure who will win between them. I thought Mario Lopez would win last time but....

If you're shopping at WalMart, yes. Have you looked around to see who shops there? At that store, Laila Ali would be a petite.
 
I begin to think it's vanity sizing. No way someone with my measurements should fit a botique six, never mind that 4 at Penney's. But in Leila's case, she's simply built. It's not fat on her.

Billy Ray must go. I'm sorry, but for that so-called samba he must pay. And they totally overscored Joey.

Of course it is vanity sizing. Supposedly Marilyn Monroe wore a 14 or 16. But to look at pictures of her, that would be an 8 today. Sizes have been revamped.

Laila is pure muscle. She's in People's Most Beautiful issue this week. It says she weighs 176 pounds and is 5'11". I have a friend who's 5'10" and 170 and believe me she isn't built like Laila.

They said the final is in three weeks, so that would mean three are going to the final as they did in season two (Stacy Keibler, Jerry Rice and Drew Lachey). I'd put my money on Laila, Apolo and Joey.
 
I think Apolo has the best posture of all the guest celebs. I'm kind of sick of Joey's thought to be somewhat funny antics and the faces he makes.

I can't understand how a undefeated boxing champions weight is in any question what so ever.:cool:
