It's also funny that TSL is now praising her jumps in their latest video.
Remember when Alina was supposed to lose all of her jumps? In 13 months or something like that.
Remember when they wanted her to retire after Worlds and go to college or do a reality show? At the time I was so indignant about it. :roll5:

I don't think they really actually thought that in their true heart. Alina still landed jumps quite well in practices and EXs, it was clear that in competition because she wasn't used to her new body she would tense up and lose the momentum of the jumps. She still did quite well in practices, it was the nerves, the pressure, the negative press, those injuries and new body, a big combination of factors that affected her performances last year.
I think they really really wanted that to be true, for Alina to do badly like at RusNats or Euros and retire shortly after, just to prove their point that evil Eteri isn't able to train adults and is going to ruin Alina, and the students that leave her for NA coaches are going to do better than those who stay with her. But it is what it is, one can only pretend for so long.
I mean, they even said that Alina will withdraw from worlds and that they don't expect to see her this season, and how many people were wishful thinking that she would end her career this season? LMAO
The fact is, all of the girls from the team, including Alina, improved greatly both in jumps and PCS, and they will get their marks as they deserve
The rest of negativity (about SS too) comes from those 'non-fans' out of sheer desperation and hopelessness, we all know it
I mean, I had a mistake of visiting another site today, and saw some people blaming Daniil for recycling Cleopatra Stsq in her Bad Guy EX, some even had snark in their commentary. LOL Funnily enough, it's clear they didn't even bother to watch the video and judged by the thumbnail, Bad Guy EX doesn't use Cleo's StSq, she performed the ending of Cleopatra after finishing her Bad Guy perf as a bonus for the japanese audience
But it just shows that negativity that some "non-fans" developed towards Alina and Team Tutberidze comes from anything but any objective place, they are just looking for things to pick on and be negative about without even looking at what's actually happening.
I'd say, those people have too much negativity in their heart, I hope they'll find peace within themselves and some power to be better human beings
so much Alina and Masaru merch, that Masaru will totally need an agent of her own quite soon!
